Brother Refillable Cartridges LC103 203 Air Vent Plug

This is showing you the location of the air vent plug on the cartridges.
The LOWER plug is the air vent plug and needs to be removed at all times when printing . This will allow the quality to print on the pages correctly.
IF you left this plug in the cartridges, your prints will eventually begin to fade.
The HIGHER plug is for refilling the cartridge and ink may spill from there if you do not plug this up . This is used for refilling the cartridge, so make sure you plug back the higher plug.
You can see on the sides of the cartridge that no ink pours from the air vent plug.

Hey, so are you running a continuous ink system? And if so i got a couple simple questions if you have a second......the first would be if i was going to use a cis setup, the cartridge would need an ink feed and everything else is plugged so the cartridge pulls a vacuum thus sucking more ink in through the cis system?
