Thanks for another great tutorial. A tip for you, I bought a couple of the biggest size furniture sliders from Walmart and put them under each end of my SNC, it makes it easier to move around.

Great sneak peek! I ordered the stamp set but not the paper. I'll have to rectify that soon!! Your tips are so helpful. I've purchased two of your Udemy courses and thet have really helped me with my early Christmas gift. Btw, you say your wear lip gloss. I wear chapstick!! No, the Cricut doesn't do this but there are other great things it can do like Print and Cut. There is nothing that I know of on the market that can Scan and Cut other than Brother machines.

I noticed your mat is really used AND sticky, mine isn’t that used but NOT sticky at all, do you do something with your mat?

Sherry, there were and probably still are defective mats floating around. I had to replace mats, replace my machine, etc. but all is well now. I have been using my 3 machines for many years now. All work. Love them all.

Hi! I have been watching your videos and thinking of getting a SNC. I would be using it to fussy cut images for collages. I'd also like to make stencils with it and some stamps, if possible. Have you made any cling-stamps with yours? (I am a mixed media artist). Thank you very much!

If you are asking if I’ve used cling stamps to stamp and then cut out - yes, of course. I cut out all kinds of stamped images and I have loads of tutorials on that. If you are asking if I’ve created my own stamps using the Stamp Starter Kit. Yes, I have and they were not very detailed. I’ve also created loads of stencils. They come out great.

@@ladyinblack1964 I just don't think foam would work much better because when it comes to stamps, there is no substitute for the professionally produced rubber stamps and photo-polymer ones. If I wanted to make a detailed stamp, I would send a digital file to a company and have them mail me a stamp before I would use the Stamp Starter Kit again. Still, it is fun for kids to draw and then cut out stamps right away. Just not enough detail for me. I agree, the Stamp Starter Kit doesn't work that well.

Great in depth video! I have a quick question about the outline distance, is it possible to go negative? Like -0.04, -0.08 etc?

Yes, my SDX does have a negative option so that is really nice so that you can avoid the black line all together if that is the look you are going for.

I love your videos, I just got a scan n cut dx125e, I also have a significant amount of stampin up. I also have a number of punches. Im wondering if there is a easy way to scan in and put the punch around a stamp. For example I have an old set called delightful decorations and it has ornaments. Id love to be able to get rid of or pack away my paper punches. The scan n cut doesnt like the ornaments because the top pieces are not connected to the bottom, ive seen you use a pencil to assist it but if you are doing a ton of them then that itself becomes time consuming. Im wondering if i can scan in a black cardstock punch out then scan in a mat full of stamped images then place the scanned in paper punched cut marks over the stamps? I dont know if this makes any sense.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, you can do everything you want to do. I have loads of videos on cutting out stamped images. I’ll share that playlist. You just replace the paper with the stamps on it. Stick plain paper in and you will have shapes. Then, stick those shapes into your Stamparatus like I did here. I was using does but the idea is the same. Still, dies and punches do a more consistent job than the ScanNCut where every cut out is slightly different. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a363hJKjnMyioLM

I’ve asked Santa if you could come stay with me over my Christmas break and be my little “Wheatie” girl that’s right there to ask questions to when I screw up things cause you make them look so easy! Trust me, I can mess things up. I’m the type that has to do it four or five times to sink in! I would love to order some if not all of your four videos you’ve advertised for sale but not sure. I’ve had my Scan ‘n Cut for a few years, and it just sits there and begs to be used. I’m also a SU demo and know the benefits I could be taking advantage of but am afraid to waste all or some of our beautiful DSP! Suggestions for me???

You need to get a extra cord, this is my first time seen this machine it so cool., for your purse can it cut the inside of the strapless wow this is neat that nice just cut mine out and I will paying the price .

Anastasia, what I need is an extension cord, not an extra cord because all of their cords are way too short. I did try cutting the inside of the purse without any luck. It has to do with the watercoloring on the purses and shoes. Still, it can be done with patterned paper and stamped images when the lines are very clean and crisp.
