Man you just keep blessing us, Technique was the first rapper to show me a side of rap that wasn't just materialistic/violent/ drug glamorizing nonsense. His song Peruvian Coke is still something I use in my Civics class to help my students understand how the war on drugs works, and how it traps people like them without actually allowing them to reap the biggest benefits of the illegal drug trade. HIs music spoke directly to me as a young teenager angry about the useless wars our nation was getting involved in, and disillusioned with all the American mythology my history classes had taught me up to that point.

Tech changed my life and I don’t say that shit lightly. As a kid who came from Eastern Europe to the West Coast when I first heard the two volumes it rearranged my perspective on life. We drove from San Diego last weekend to see him in Santa Ana and it was a night I will never forget. That man helped guide me and opened alot of doors for my mind as a youth. Thank you Ali for having this honest and warrior spirited brother on your platform and thank you Tech for always being the guiding light. This man was the KRS One and Chuck D of my generation. It was an honor to sing every song bar for bar with Tech from the crowd. Never let the fire go out. 😊

One of the best shows I ever saw was Brother Ali and Immortal Technique. It was at a small venue in Indianapolis called the Blue Bird. Intimate setting and the show was amazing! What made it all that much more memorable was on the way to exit the building, along with merchandise tables were the men themselves. Tech has the most menacing appearance until you speak to him. Both Ali and Tech shook my hand, took pictures, signed the merchandise. Two of the most humble, intelligent men who have amazing hearts that shine throughout. Ali was masterful on stage and can’t wait for him to tour near me again. My son and I have seen Tech twice and Felipa (how he introduced himself to my son) was 14 at the time. He asked my son what he wanted to be when he got older. My son stated “ I don’t know”. He proceeded to tell my son he saw greatness in him and that whatever path he chose, he knew it would be amazing. Hearing someone water your seed in a way that motivates them is unconditional love in my eyes. It’s good to see great men do great things. Thank you Brother Ali

Wa'a'salaam Aleikum, Respect and Gratitude to both of you for your many years of bravery and tenacity in sharing knowledge and truth, especially when said information is being actively suppressed. This was so incredible to hear you both speak, being a fan of Vinnie Paz led me to Immortal Technique and then to Brother Ali. I have learned so much and been given direction to so many topics of study in that process and can't thank the three of you adequately. Don't even get me started on how much I have been inspired and enjoyed the music, y'all are emcees that have elevated the artform artfully. Thank You so much for sharing The Long Winter, Tech. Your bars always seem to hit me right when i need to hear real at that precise angle to let some light in...I know for a fact that your words ease people's pain, It's a blessing. I have recurring dreams where most of the bright souls i miss terribly, they're just like these happy skeletal versions of themselves and they're having a huge party six feet down and they'll be like, where's Jonny? Like I'm late to the party...it's surreal but it feels so good to hear their voices. I've been trying to learn how to grieve and to understand the healing inherent in the transformative properties of human emotions, like turning grief/sadness/depression first into rage and then channeling the rage to fuel artistic or other positive endeavours, which ideally would result in joy or inspiration in other people and lead them closer to contentment, atonement, or fulfillment...It's a process and a work in progress. Survivor's guilt just weighs so heavy at times, it's hard to live in the understanding that it's actually a gift from the creator to feel these strong emotions, they all come from and ultimately once again become pure love. I pray that both of your burdens of grief are lessened by your artistic processes, the sharing of those emotions through your music, that brings so much light and beneficial energy to all those who hear and internalize your lyrics. I and so many others look up to you and hold you in the highest regard, I wish that I could adequately express my gratitude. Y'all bring beauty from pain. This podcast is so ill, consistently so. Much Love

I overstand not making more vinyls when you said it would be a limited edition, but there is a difference between first and second editions, especially when one is hand numbered. No one would consider you dishonest to do subsequent editions after a limited and numbered first edition, nor would it make that first edition less collectable.
