I have a restraining order against my ex and I recently finally set aside the shame and told my family and friends. I realized that abusers THRIVE off of their victim feeling emotionally and psychologically isolated. You are stronger with a team! I second his plea ladies, stand up and fight for yourself. Be your own hero but let people support you and let it show that you have people who know what’s being done to you and that you’ve not allowed yourself to be shamed onto a lonely island. I’m sending all my love and solidarity to women who have encountered men who are sick with the patriarchy. ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

When the prophet speaks you fucking listen ❤ #ImmortalTechnique I absolutely love this man’s entire legacy. I am a 32 year old ‘white’ guy who’s life was spiritually and emotionally changed by this man’s message, and all of his other colleagues/allies/associates. Immortal Technique is soooooo powerful and he deserves to be canonized for what he speaks to. I used to be an avid Pro-Israel christian with a pretty narrow religious worldview (christian zionist but didn’t know it) until I heard the music of this man and the groups he has collaborated with like Jedi Mind Tricks And Army of the Pharaohs. His lyrics almost single handedly helped me unplug from all that nonsense and start looking into Islam which shook me spiritually to the core; Since then I haven’t converted or anything like that but this entire journey of transformation has given me a whole new appreciation for the world we live in and I owe that transformation to God first, but for people like this who have been able to see through sooo much and give back such a pure expression of it. Thank you for giving him an hour of your day to speak. To God be the praise and may Yah bless the path laid before you all.

What a beautiful, brilliant conversation. I was not familiar with Immortal Technique’s work before, but I will certainly be listening now. What a genius! I’d like to respond to the question Amanda poses towards the end of the conversation: is the human experience just an endless cycle of/quest for power? As a Christian (and no I don’t subscribe to any religion, I mean I have a personal, spiritual relationship with God and Jesus), that ego death is at the center of Christ’s purpose on the earth. Imagine that God himself would come down to earth to experience human suffering and willingly die for a crime he didn’t commit to save us from sin? Sin is separateness because sin is behaving out of a fear based mindset rather than out of love for your fellow human because you see yourself as a separate body rather than united by one spirit. Jesus’s sacrifice dumbfounded the Romans and Sanhedrin of the time who so identified with their flesh and their egos that they could not fathom that someone would do such a thing. Christ did it because he has no ego. His only agenda is to do the will of God. Our salvation is achieved through dying to our flesh (our flesh is ruled by the ego mind, fear based, survival based thinking) and to be reborn in the spirit (one with God who is love and therefore we are all reflections of love as his creation). Immortal Technique suggested this, but I wanted to elaborate. The so-called “Christians” of the Western world have absolutely no real relationship with God and are manipulating believers in a quest for absolute power, which is the complete opposite of what Jesus teaches. The gospels are the most philosophically, intellectually, spiritually and politically revolutionary texts ever written. But if you can’t stop a movement, it’s best to infiltrate it. That’s what the Romans did all those centuries ago, and that’s what the Evangelicals are STILL doing. Consider that the rise of the evangelical movement came AFTER the Civil Rights Movement, which was mostly lead by Christian organizations, church groups and mosques. Not a coincidence. Don’t fall for the mentiras y’all ❤ Be blessed!

Our history has been scrubbed and shuffled, for all the reasons but, I came across a document that had the listing much like what Immortal described for the indigenous, whites and blacks in that caste system of passing. This was found in Louisiana specifically- I think it had to do with the differences between Cajun and Creole people. The terms included mulatto, and dusky, and many other terms that are continually politically corrected out of language. That’s a whole other episode, how history is lost through the cancellation, redefining and appropriation of words and phrases.

@39:58 I agree because we naturally are curious & question but not to the point of disrespect. If something does not sit right with our soul, we deep out the later realize that our sanity was kept because we use both instinct, emotion, & facts to support our decisions. That's what I see with us Black folk here in the states. Out of these states, I can't really say the same, unfortunately.
