When this song first played on the radio in about 1971 , it was played on the same station that played rock and roll. It was considered a crossover . Playlists were more diverse then. That was in L.A. Would never happen now.These two were one of best things of the 70s and 80s. Unequaled harmony. Their other older live shows were more upbeat I believe, but when they were younger. A gem of a song and huge in the 70s.
