Spirit is not felt, that’s s mistake to believe that the Holy Spirit would cause emotions, instead it’s purpose is to convey light and truth, intelligence, to inform us and to testify of Christ.

How could experiencing light, truth, intelligence, and the testifying of Christ, not make me feel ? I feel gratitude, I feel peace, I feel the love of my Savior. And, sometimes I feel overwhelmed and astounded.

The Bible says in Galatians ch 5 “ 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Love, joy, and peace are all feelings.

Hi, I lovingly disagree with what you are saying. When members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day, say: "I feel the spirit," they are simply saying: that they can feel God's love for them. They aren't talking about instinctual emotional responses, but feeling pure love flowing from God's heart to ours. If a very dear loved one asked you: "Can you feel just how very much I love you?" How would you respond? I promise you, that God loves you with all of his heart, might, mind, strength, and whole soul, and wants you to feel his Devine love for you, when you choose to make choices that please him. He loves to show his Devine appreciation when we choose to show our sincere love for him, and mankind! God bless you to feel God's love daily!
