The family dog also escaped unharmed. It was later found locked in its crate upstairs and was adopted by a neighbour. My heart goes out to the entire family, especially to little Daniel, but for him the pair might have been successful in killing the entire family. I hope that Crystal and Autumn will be able to come to terms with what has happened.. I know Autumn was too young to have suffered trauma directly that night, she slept through the entire ordeal, but imagine growing up with that knowledge and as for poor Crystal, well there are no words to express just what a tumult of conflicting emotions she has. I think she will be battling emotional demons for the rest of her life. So tragic. Beggars belief that the parents did not act on the bizarre behaviour of the two older boys .. to my mind “boys will be boys” and “that’s what boys do” when told about the knives, body armour, and the plans to buy guns is just wild.

@@imageword5576 True and they also raised them strangely isolated, paranoid, I would say, But, in saying that, it still takes evil that goes way beyond a quirky upbringing that would bring out that kind of monster in them. I honestly feel that some people are just born bad. The younger brother that called the police, I saw good in him. I don't think he would have grown up to be like them. I think a park is probably the best option. Very few people if anyone is going to want to live in that house or a house rebuilt over the property. It’s easier to put it out of mind as a park and also is a peaceful counter to the house / murders. People tend to forget when bad things have happened in a specific place if the usage or original structure is different. If you’ve ever been to lower Manhattan you’ve walked over the unmarked graves of thousands of slaves. Most people don’t know that or if they do don’t tend to think about it as they go about their day.

@@DerylStrylI've seen, first hand, kids from home school. My cousin did it for her kids long before it became so popular. I mean, back in the 1990's. Most are fine, fine kids from fine families. There have been some terrible crimes from good families of both home schooled and public schooled children. But, after decades of observance, it seems to be that home schooled children are more inclined to be anti-social. The family that I am concerned with is very paranoid and full of conspiracy theories. And the children are extremely introverted and socially awkward, which doesn't very often, lead to good things.

Sometimes I think Dr. Grande shouldn't make jokes during these horrific stories as it is disrespectful to the victims. On the other hand, it is a coping mechanism, not only for himself, but for our benefit as well. These crimes are so disturbing that we need some kind of release from the emotional pain it causes us. That leaves me with 2 questions: Why does Dr. G continue to research and prepare these videos? and why do we continue watching them? The first one is easier to answer. Dr. Grande gets eyeballs for his channel which = subscriptions, more money, KZbin fame etc. What do we get? Infotainment? Maybe, but at what cost to our mental health?
