Brothers REACT: The Warning Join Lava and Record Error

This is us looking back at when The Warning signed with Lava and then travelled to New Jersey to record Error at the height of the covid pandemic.
The Warning is a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, consisting of three sisters: Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. They gained popularity through their KZbin channel, where they posted covers of classic rock songs and eventually began showcasing their original music. The band's style is characterized by energetic performances, powerful vocals, and impressive musicianship.

Some small corrections, Devon did not find them at the Mercury Lounge, she had already spoken with The Warning and the band arranged for the 2 shows in NY for Devin to see them and for her to then convince Jason to come to the second show. Also they did not record at David's studio, but at multiple studios. Lastly Devon is a singer/songwriter herself, so would've possibly been able to help with the lyrics.

Error was recorded in several NJ studios. I believe this video was shot at the rehearsal space (Future Starz is Fairfield, NJ). I believe the recording was done as follows (1) iiWii Studios in Weehawken, (2) Magic Door Studios in Montclair, (3) Sound on Sound Studios in Montclair (4) Mike Ferretti's home studio in Ringwood. Final mixing was done in my home town at The Barbershop Studios in Hopatcong (favored by David Bendeth because, among other things, it is located on the state's largest lake and he is a fisherman!)

I am just glad they got the Error album done, in spite of the "nutty" restrictions everyone was under back in those times! It is still #1 to me..an absolutely perfect record....best thing about the pandemic! Thanks guys!

Fun reaction to to some cool content. 😁 Glenn, one question: Did you find somewhere that Devon said her name was pronounced the way you are pronouncing it? I've always just heard it as sounding like "dev-in" not "dee-von." Just curious if I and the CEO of Lava in the Mayday documentary have been pronouncing it wrong. 😂
