Snakes & Arrows is my favorite of the post-hiatus Rush albums. This song's chorus of "I can get back on" felt so triumphant in 2007 coming from Neil with his history, and became bittersweet when he died in 2020.

This album was the first time i was able to see rush live. It was magical. I saw them at Saratoga performing arts center in New York. Still today they are the best show i have seen live, in 40 years of concert going.

Great album. Saw both Snake and Arrows and R40 tours. Snake and Arrows at Cobo Hall in Detroit - best concert I've ever attended.

Musical safe space. This is my favourite track from Rush's later years. It may have been a bit clearer than this on the Snakes and Arrows tour. The power of a great riff and a big dirty sound. The closing chord is the same one that opened Hemispheres. Snakes and Arrows is an overlong album, but it has some good songs. I've noticed that when I switched from vinyl to cd, I stopped caring about lyrics quite as much because they weren't there in front of me to read. So at one time I could have quoted almost every lyric from every Rush song, but only up to the 1990's.

This is one of my favourite songs off of the Snakes and Arrows album. The chorus has sort of a 60's sound and being the same age as Geddy and Alex we were all very altruistic about the future but the future turned out very different. I have a couple of suggestions from the Counterparts album which happens to be one of my favourite Rush albums.
