I grew up with my Grandmother having these "fire suppressant grenades" hanging in her house. Always clear liquid. Her and my mother would buy them at auctions. Very cool. Brought back old memories.

It is great to see you out and about and again providing us some great videos. You are a legend. I seriously thought "clothes hanger" as soon as I saw that clip. It could also be a clothes strecher that was used after clothes were washed and hung to dry. It would help prevent wrinkling. I remember those fire extinguishers. They contained a red fluid. There was an old department store where I live that had those throughout the store. The people of that site must have been the gathering point for a sure nuff hoedown.

How wonderful to have this exploration to come back to as you started feeling better. Great finds! I wondered if that mystery find, the clip on a wire, could’ve been part of a cloth pouch that women would use for clothespins. There’s be a hangar part that’d secure the pouch to the clothesline, and the pouch would hold all the pins.

Great to see you back! Hope your health takes a turn for the better! Just a thought on the class ring . . . It was probably on a chain around some girl's neck when she noticed the stone was gone. She then was scared that her boyfriend would be mad at her, so she threw it away, made up a story about being mugged and having the ring stolen. Her boyfriend felt so sorry for her that he wasn't mad and, in fact, felt so guilty that he asked her to marry him. They've now been married for over 60 years and she's never told him what really happened. S-h-h-h, don't let him know. Isn't it amazing what stories you can imagine whenever you find something interesting? Anyway, glad you're back, now I don't have to make these things up. :) :)

Glad your back, the clay pipi looks like early because of the smaller bowl and that the bowl is at angle from the stem. I think pipes with bowls at 90 degrees from the stem are from the late 18th. Century on. I haven't looked up this stuff in a long, long time so I could be totally wrong

Very interesting items found! I just saw Quarter Hoarder's last interview show. Lynn, who is part of the crew, mentioned that she is only just now able to do some metal detecting. She has been unable to do it before now because she still has joint pain from Lyme Disease. Guess you're not the only one! Probably a "club" that no one wants to be part of. You should definitely go back to Rebecca's at some point! Prayers for you and answers!
