Unprecedented sanctions have sent the Russian ruble tumbling. The U.S. has now cut off Russia’s central bank from its $630 billion so-called sanctions-proof fund. Bill Browder is CEO of Hermitage Capital and the architect of the Magnitsky Act, used by President Biden to impose sanctions on Vladimir Putin and his oligarch cronies. Browder speaks with Walter Isaacson about the tactic of cutting Putin off from his wealth.

Read Bill’s book, “Red Notice”. Bill’s story is incredible and the heroic acts of his lawyer, Sergei, are something everyone in the world should know the facts of. His book tore the mask off Putin for me, and that’s how I came to realized Putin was truly evil.

In reality, the sanctions against Russia will have very little impact. Individuals, such as Putin, who are sanctioned don't have assets in the West. Russia has enough trading partners that they will trade in other currencies. The significant question should be not how Russia will suffer, but how the West particularly the US and Europe (mainly Germany) will suffer as a result of the inept actions of the Biden Regime. Olaf Scholz and Joe Biden have sold their citizens down the drain. The consequences of their actions are going to be extremely harmful to them. Already, directly as a result of Biden's diabolical threats, a new Russia-China Alliance has been created. They describe it as a "firm" alliance. In one stroke that alliance has ended US geopolitical world dominance. Russia is Europe's largest natural gas supplier, particularly for Germany (approx 46%), yet Scholz just announced weapons for Ukraine. Without any further sanctions and restrictions, natural gas markets are already in chaos - rising. Energy prices for Europe, particularly Germany, are going to skyrocket. If Biden keeps screwing Russia, Putin may just cut off all the gas supplies to Germany and Europe. That will send German production and its economy into a tailspin. The Russia-China Alliance will include major energy co-operation. Dealings will not be conducted in US dollars. That will greatly diminish US petrodollars. The new alliances will also threaten the position of the US dollar as the world reserve currency, with major negative consequences for Americans. I have some advice for you. Putin is not serious about any peace agreement unless he has something to maintain his ego and standing in his country. He is not about to accept losing that much face voluntarily. The only thing which could actually end the Russian aggression is if the Russian military were to side with the Ukranians and confront Putin. Certainly, if the Russian economy can be made to crash dramatically and sufficiently potent weapons can be supplied to the Ukrainians to effectively confront the Russian aggression, I cannot see a way forward for Putin's continued presidency in Russia. The Russian people are ready for a new leader and this miscalculation for him to remain in power by starting a war with the Ukraine may be just the act that turns a critical mass of Russian people to turn against him. Russia has the potential to rise to become a major economy in the world under the right leadership as it is the largest country with substantial natural resources and a hardy, intelligent, skilled people.
