First off I love your videos! Keep up the great work bud 👍 Quick question, what would you say is your favorite or the best retreive when using a Rapala type lure? I've fished them quite a bit with some success but am always open to tips to help be a better fisherman. I have a few spots I know hold nice fish I'm just having a hard time getting them to bite anything. Lots of followers just won't commit

I like to twitch them a lot. I fish them really erratically. But, I doubt retrieval style is the reason for them not biting. A lot more factors at play. My first guess would be water temps are a little too warm. When water gets above 67-69 fish start following and not hitting. I've seen it time and time again. My second guess if they have seen a lot of stick baits recently. If they get fished hard they will act that way too. Check your water temps and try something a little different, maybe fish a different time of day

go to rose city and fish the creeks that feed rifle river...they got big browns

Pretty much anything north of Houghton lake holds brownies and brookies. Of course there is better streams then others. Some of the best brownies I've caught came out of creeks or ditches that most people would never even consider fishing.

I don't like to be nosy but I would like to know where that Creek's at you caught that fish yet I go up to wolverine Michigan and fish on the sturgeon and the pigeon in the Black River with the pigeon River Forest I like to fish small streams I really like your videos

Those are great streams! I don't tell people where I fish. Potentially a lot of people see that and could put a tremendous amount of pressure on a small system.
