I don't want to be over-critical here but IMO those are NOT little dings in the edge of the outer ring. If I pay $400.00 or more for something I expect it to arrive in perfect condition. Not with a bunch of divots missing out of the edge of the thing.

Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and present this. I bought a Browncastle board too. I admire their hard work and being a family business and all, but the board arriving damaged would have bugged me to no end. Mine arrived in good shape, but I wish I would have ordered one with the Canadian maple veneer. I may give this one to my son and order that model. We will see. Wish I had watched this video first! Thanks again!

Those dings are huge and totally unacceptable. I have bought two amazing boards from Crokinole Canada and they came pristine and are tournament quality.

Great review! Maybe ordering from them, but by now (Jan 2024) I would hope they would have solved their packaging problems. Whether it's $150 or $450, it's a piece of wood, and enough packing material to assure *intact* delivery should only be a few dollars.

Did you order one by the way? Curious if the packaging was much better now.

@GamingWithSantanas yup. It was well packaged and with the new, padded bag, it arrived in perfect condition.

the powder you got is not the right stuff. check out Tracy boards for the right product. the bb stuff is for shuffleboards

Definitely not acceptable packaging for a premium board. It should have been returned or a minimum 50% discount. Makes me wonder what they were thinking packaging it so cheaply and without protection for the vulnerable edges.
