The first time I made brownies, I followed your recipe and they were a hit. Ever since then, I've followed quite a few of your recipes and they've all been delicious. You're baking skills are outstanding and your willingness to share it with others is much appreciated.

Yes, you could add white chocolate chips and/or walnuts. You could try baking them a little less to get them more fudgy. And I find that refrigerating them also makes them more dense and fudgy.

Dear madam, Hi am Dr. Pratap upadhya. I work and stay in pondicherry, India. This mail is about how much me and my family love and appreciate your baking recipes. I only recently took up baking as a hobby and within few days I came across your channel in youtube. Many of the recipes given there came out really well especially brownies,muffins, cinnamoms and pound cakes. My family especially my daughter loves the taste and delicacy of the recipes given. Thank you and keep posting more

Joy of Baking Greeting from the heart of Lombardia in Italy, Milano :) I tried your wonderful recipe this evening, but instead of the normal chocolate chips, I used white chocolate chips. I must say, your recipe is beyond outstanding. the top is crusty and crunchy and the centre is chewy and practically melts in your mouth. the white chocolate chips add a bit of a bite to the chewy and gooey centre, whilst also a contrast of flavor. thank you so much. the family are so pleased :)

I use quite a few different brands. For Dutch processed cocoa powder I mainly use Valrhona and Droste. For regular unsweetened I mainly use Scharffen Berger. For chocolate chips I use quite a few brands, Guittard being one favorite.

I just made this and it came out brilliant!! I just made everything one third, one egg, and so on cause I wanted to try on a smaller batch first ...it's a no fail recipe. Yesterday I tried Laura in the kitchens recipe for same and the butter was just too much so I wasn't really happy with my result. But This is superb!

I baked this just now and it has to be the hands down best brownies ever. Like described by Stephanie, it is a perfect balance of fudge and cake, and it sure melts in mouth. Delicious! I added a Tbsp of instant coffee powder and really worked for my taste.

Brownies typically do have cracks. A high sugar content is one reason for the cracking. Sometimes if you don't mix the batter too much, that will help reduce the cracking.

I've searched the internet for many days, scanning through brownie recipes, and it was NOT easy. From cooking temps, to premium ingredients, to mixing times, how to mix, what to mix and when, it was a nightmare. Your recipe resonated with me. It's simple. It's delicious. And it's what I'm going to use forever and ever. THANKS!!! ^__^

These are the best brownies i have tried. Just made them. I made mine to a 9inch tray, increase all the ingradients by half and add to the main ingredients. The eggs i maintain it to 3. It turn out superb. Thanks for sharing such scrumptious recipe.

I've never tried making brownies with sweet chocolate, but I think it should be okay. Although the brownies will be very sweet in flavor as there is already a lot of sugar in the recipe.

Sometimes an oven's calibration can be off over time. I would buy a free standing oven thermometer so you can double check. You can buy them at cook ware stores or a lot of grocery stores even sell them.
@joyofbaking12 жыл бұрын
I think that would really add to the flavor of the brownies. Coffee and chocolate always go nicely together.

Chocolate is delicate and to prevent over heating, I like to melt the chocolate slowly, over simmering water.

I have been baking these brownies for my family since 2014 and everyone absolutely loves it. One batch doesn’t last for more than 2 days 😅 I use milk chocolate since I’m not a big fan of dark chocolate. And reduce the quantity of sugar to 100 gms. I use salted butter so I skip the salt too. And this recipe hasn’t failed once in the last 10 years. Thank you Stephanie for the easiest, quickest and the most amazing recipe. ❤

It does tend to rise a bit, although you can help eliminate this by not beating too much air into the batter.
