Even the entire meaning behind Bucky sacrificing himself is different in the movies and how. He sacrifices himself on his own terms in the show, realizing steve surviving is more important than them both dying whereas in the movie he just falls. His fate happens to him whereas in the show it's more of a tragic consequence of his choice

Fun fact: This project originally began as "Incredible Hulk: Gamma Corps" which was going to feature a combination of Hulk's Warbound and the hit squad from the Gamma Corps comic mini-series. With scripting for pre-production underway, it was felt that the creative work that was being done to bring Hulk's world and his villains to life was too good to relegate to his universe alone, and would be much better suited as part of an full-on Avengers adaptation.

Let's not forget this series showed us all how powerful and intimidating Doctor Doom is. The Avengers and Fantastic Four come in to take him on and he wipes the floor with them. All while using science, magic, and hand to hand combat. Doom is very powerful.

This show improved upon the secret Invasion storyline. It also included one of my favorite quotes from that story which was Maria Hill complaining about the Helicarrier constantly conking out. For some odd reason, it's hard to find a clip of that scene anywhere.

The thing I'm most angry for is that this was the Marvel's DCAU. The same Yost has said it: Avengers: EMH, Wolverine and the X-Men and Spectacular Spiderman share the same universe (Spiderman is still debated but come on there are some lost Keaton Spiderman dialogue out there for the spider's introduction). Some of the best Marvel's series were supposed to share the universe and that was going to be explored in the Avenger's third season, with a formal crossover with the X-Men. They were going to have the Maximoff siblings, Ragnarok, House of M...

Spectacular is NOT officially canon with the others. That show was led by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook, rather than Chris Yost. Weisman and Cook had their own ideas for the other Marvel heroes. Yost wanted to use Josh Keaton as a nod to Spectacular, but that's about it.

Honestly, the comparison to Hamill’s Joker being the best voiced Joker to Ledger being the best portrayed Joker has the exact same effect to Loomis’ Iron Man voice here to Downey’s Iron Man. Avengers: EMH was Marvel's Young Justice or Justice League/JLU. I don't think a higher praise could be given. I was about 16 or 17 when it came out, so I can't say that I "grew up" with it. It wasn't my first exposure to the Avengers (that was unfortunately the garbage late 90s series), and it wasn't the first thing that got me interested in the Avengers and their characters (that was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and for better or worse, Brian Michael Bendis's run, particularly New Avengers). What I can say, though, is that it actually made me appreciate classic Avengers and got me interested in looking into many of these characters and their classic stories more. It actually made me give a rip about Hank Pym, Hawkeye in his classic getup (I previously only liked him when he was Ronin because I hated his classic costume and thought he was dumb because of it), Black Panther, Kang and Ultron. Shoutout to the main writer, Christopher Yost. I don't know anyone who considers him one of the all-time greats in comics, but when he still consistently wrote comics, I always remember him as one of the most consistently entertaining (please have him come back to write Spider-Man or the X-Men again). The late 00s, very early 10s were a new renaissance of superhero animation that sadly got cut short before its time due to one combination or another of company obsession with toy sales/appealing to "too wide of an audience," company buyouts (mostly Disney not wanting people to continue to love things that they themselves didn't have a hand in creating now that they finally owned all of the animation rights), and general destruction of quality action cartoons because companies wanted to make things as cheap and fast as possible, resulting in the glut of lowest common denominator comedies and terrible, meta, beanhead style reboots. Avengers: EMH and the other great but cut-short action shows of its time will be sorely missed. At least Young Justice came back.

Disney just wanted to be the creator of everything. Even if what they made was worse than what came before. It happened with EMH, Spectacular Spiderman and Clone Wars. All great show, all that got cancelled before their time because Disney wanted to its own thing. That is why I get really angry when one of the hşgher ups in Disney says that they want to create great stories first. They do not, they want to create things that earn them money, even if what they make is bad. It happened with Avengers Assembel and Ultimate Spiderman (Rebels had great moments but Im 100% convinced those happened thanks to Dave Filoni and the Clone Wars team dispite Disney, not thanks to Disney)

Yeah, Ultimate Alliance introduced me to the huge world of Marvel. Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes showed me what you can do with that huge world. Dived deeper into all these worlds. Gave me a definitive version of these characters, and a jumping off point for new characters.

And the changes is not for everyone to like about S3, having more new characters, new designs, rush action, rush development, and still continuing the plot of the light being the conflict again. It's flawed in the second half for sure. But I and some others did still enjoyed it. I know the writers should do better with the pacing the development but it isn't unbearable or unwatchable because of those issues and flaws. At least it's done better then some shows like RWBY for example. But you know it's fine. You don't have to watch it if you're not enjoying it.

Hawkeye became my favorite avenger because of this show, I loved how despite having no super soldier serum, armor or powers he kicked as much ass as the rest of the team and even saved them sometimes. Also, he had a really cool costume which the movies never made justice to.

I grew up watching this series learned who all the characters were from Mar-Vell to Black Panther to the Guardians of the Galaxy before their rise to fame. It brought fans of old and new ones together in a cohesive way where even if you did not know who they were originally you knew them well afterwards making it accessible for all fans. P.S. that theme song was awesome.

I feel so bad about this because the show (much like the DCAU in terms of quality) to me was truly one of the best things Marvel put out that, when it was closed, left us wanting more. We're starting to see a bit of a Resurgence in quality for Marvel animation with What If, but I feel like if EMH was brought back in some way (continued or featured in something big), it'd be a HUGE sign that the studio hasn't totally lost their touch (that is if Disney doesn't meddle in their quality and they get the right people to work on the show).

Oh this documentary spoke to me so much . This show was one of the pinnacles of my love for the Avengers in the comics as a whole and become the comic expert I am now, this show was my introduction to Black Panther how I read later his comics from writers like Christopher priest, Reginald and even Taenashi Coates. The version of Kang and Ultron in show is one of my favorite versions of in tv other than the comics . For newbies in the comics I highly recommend you checkout the Avengers comics from Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Roger Stern and Kurt Busiek as those are the writers this shows pulls their main inspiration from. Side note: The Avengers vs Graviton fight is probably one of the best team fights in the entire series. The level of trash talking of Graviton, Hulk and Wasp while giving epic fight across New York was so monumental you could see how much destruction New York had .

At the time, I thought I knew Marvel so well because I knew Spider-man, the X-Men, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, and Fantastic Four. But in truth, this is what paved the way for my excitement for the MCU. We had Iron Man and Hulk, but this show gave me the knowledge of Thor, Captain America, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, and more that would later pay off when they brought those characters to life in the MCU. And the theme song rips!

There are three people who deserve a lot of credit for this show, Boyd Kirkland, Craig Kyle, and Chris Yost. Boyd Kirkland was the main director and story editor, Craig Kyle and Chris Yost were the main writers. Not only were they responsible for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, they were also behind other great Marvel shows like Wolverine and the X-Men and X-Men Evolution. They're like the Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett of Marvel shows. Sadly, Boyd Kirkland passed away in 2011. Craig Kyle and Chris Yost are writing for Marvel movies now. They worked on Thor: Ragnarok. They also co-created X-23 and worked a bit on Logan.

Here! Superhero Squad Show had to be my first real introduction to characters like Iron-Man, Wolverine, MODOK and Dr. Doom. It was so damned ridiculous and bombastic with the plot of collecting the Infinity Sword shatters, and at the same time it wholly embraced the innate cheesiness of the superhero genre, it was awesome.

Jaylen is right. After the sucess, the characters from Marvel (you can see the same happening to DC as well, even though their movies aren't a popular consensus) are PROHIBITED from adapting to different storytelling. Remember Peter Parker's biological web because of the movies? Or any changes that occurred to the Xmen after the films. It's this anti-alienating alienating that I wholeheartedly despise.

It's such basic storytelling and countless movies have already done it. If we can get Norman Osborn talking to the green goblin in the mirror in the first spider-man movie we can get banner talking with the hulk. In fact why stop there? Why don't they adapt one of the comic issues where he goes inside his own mind and encounter different versions of the hulk and confronts his abusive father? All the coolest hulk stuff has been tossed aside by the MCU and it sucks.

It's the best Marvel adaption. And that theme song: SO GOOD!! This show never spoke down to the audience. It respected the fans and the source material, and was just all around very well written with characters you could easily relate to and get invested in. I cannot say the same for the MCU and it angered me so much Earth's Mightiest Heroes was replaced with a show that was an inferior rip-off of the movies (seriously they literally re-used the same gags and lines from the MCU that it had me rolling my eyes and sighing). The thing that pissed me off most about Ant-Man in the MCU is that the things Ant-Man is best known for it's creating Ultron, and the burden that put on him. The MCU dropped the ball on that in every way. Oh, and not to mention Scott Lang is supposed to be a redhead, but Hollywood hates redheads.

Another great dynamic in the show was Steve and Tony. They had their differences in how they handled situations, but they still respected each other. They didn't constantly argue, they debated. Their friendship was real and the respect was earned, they both learned things from the other, and when the team had a falling out it felt devastating as opposed to expected

Which is why I prefer this version of the Marvel Universe over the MCU now and the "Secret Invasion" in this show than the MCU TV miniseries anyday which I think Marvel Studios could fix with a soft reboot after the movie: "Avengers: Secret Wars" to better adapt storylines that feel poorly written in the MCU and better adapt characters that feel neglected now and even fix a few opportunities that feel missed now

They actually did air the micro episodes, albeit not in the order that they did on official airings or Disney+. They would air different micro episodes for each character in the build up to the series premiere so I knew all the characters already when I saw Episode 1 as a kid.

The best quality of the show was how that world had so many different heroes and villains, and they didn't all interact with each other. They all deal with their own things off screen, and when there's a big attack on the city/planet, they're most likely dealing with it somewhere else (NY is a big place after all, and not all the action will be focused around the Avengers)

I thought I was the only one who appreciated this show. AEMH introduced me to the tragedy of Captain America’s character as he is a man out of time. Everyone he knew is now gone, and he now must struggle with accepting the future. After the Cap flash back episode I went out with my dad and bought Captain America and Bucky action figures and recreated that whole episode. I love this show

Why do fans of Avengers earths migthy's heroes keep wanting me to come back? because it is one of the best tributes to the comic that Marvel has done in its history of adaptations. It brilliantly adapts what works and especially removes what doesn't. Everybody says so, but not many animated superhero series can do that these days. If they currently say that manga surpasses comic, it is because comic stopped making animated series as brilliant from its source material as manga does. I love this show. First season was great but second was extremely good. Secret Invasion is, at least in my opinion, better in here than the comics, and the rest of the show is extremely comic accurate. In my opinion after just one episode late into season 2 I believe that this show has the second best JJJ obviously behind JK Simmons. Also remember when it just took like a c level villain (this was before Jessica Jones) Killgrave and had him take over the world? That’s one of my favorite episodes and it’s clear they did their homework. Extra thing, this show easily has the better Mar-Vell, I hate what they did to him in the movie

One of my favourite parts of the show has to be how close it is to the original Avengers run in the 60’s. I’m glad that the show was created before the mcu really kicked off, and that we got the chance to have that original line up, that included Hank pym and Janet, rather than the default six that everyone associates the team with. Honestly it’s close to being one of the most comic accurate adaptations of the group on screen

I think what makes the characters randomly popping in work is that it’s not bogged down by exposition but the story still subtly lets you know who they are. You really feel like there is a history between characters and they’re not slowing down to explain to an unseen audience

I love this show’s Black Panther. He feels like freakin Batman. Combat skills, badassery and intelligence. The problem with the MCU is that it left him only the combat skills, and moved the other two traits to Okoye and Shuri respectively. It feels like the true Black Panther is there only if you put the three of them together.

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes has my favorite depiction of the Hulk it's one of the reasons why I love Peter David, Bill Milo, and Immortal Hulk run of the comics I was never Into The action-packed mindless monster depictions they always portrayed the Hulk as. It's why the MCU I didn't like the hulk(2012-2015) until taika waititi took over.

I remember watching this show as a 5-7 year old kiddo after my dad showed it to me I didn't watch too many shows as a kid so I became obsessed, this show was my introduction to all things superhero and got me into marvel, it helped me connect with a lot of people when I was young. So many episodes are engraved in my head and I was so sad that we never got that third season.

If you ask me, Season 1 of EMH is a whole lot more fun than the second half Season 2. For those uninitiated, After the Skrull arc ended, the episodes became less serialized and felt a bit more rushed. This is because the last 12 episodes of Season 2 (well most of them) were written by Man of Action (the creators of Cartoon Network's Ben 10 franchise). But the biggest problem lies with who was the producer for S2: Jeph Loeb. When Loeb became Marvel Animation's president in 2011, he made the baseless assumption/claim that kids don't like serialized storytelling and that cartoons are for kids. From what I've read, He forced the EMH creative team to scrap their own ideas for late S2, and make the episodes self contained, and last but not least, have the episodes focus more on characters in the MCU (Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor). Loeb's tenure as President of Marvel Animation may be one of, if not the biggest reasons why people do not like Avengers Assemble (I have no ill-will towards that show, in fact, the Black Panther-focused 5th season is actually good as it's one of the few times the show has serialized storytelling) Also, while Assemble's toyline only lasted a year, EMH had no toyline. That made no sense whatsoever, especially when other beloved Marvel Cartoons like Spectacular Spider-Man, Iron Man Armored Adventures, and Wolverine and the X-Men all had toylines and merchandise(albeit short-lived ones)

I've also heard that Loeb actually diverted money from the Animation division to the live-action shows. It would definitely explain why the animation for Avengers, Guardians and the 2017 Spider-Man show looks so drab and lifeless. This show was a huge part of my childhood. It got me interested in Ironman. In Marvel. And in superheroes in general. It's has my first animated crush, Wasp. There's so many things that happened there, that I wish the MCU could've done. Like have Antman and Wasp be a part of the original Avengers team. I really wished they had Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne be the Antman and the Wasp. I've grown to some what like Scott in the MCU. A burglar to hero is cool but I really wanted to see the build up of Hank and Janet's relationship in the MCU. I don't read the comics but I already know that Hank is one of the smartest people in all of Marvel. And thanks to the MCU, people think Ironman made Ultron. Ultron is Antman's first child. Ultron also gave him grandkids, besides Vision. Look em up. I also really wished they had Hulk and Bruce actually talk to each other from reflections or just out of random. I don't like the idea of Bruce or Hulk just yelling at themself in front of everyone. As the viewers, we have to understand who they're talking to. Thor and Asgard should've been treated more seriously. They did a much better job with the Secret Invasion. I thought the Captain Marvel movie was gonna lead to that. That's one of the only reasons I watched the movie. I also thought the Skrulls were gonna be the big villains after Thanos, but no. They wanted to be more realistic and involve WW3 and Government corruption. I'm fine with the MCU being realistic and focusing on the Multiverse. But the MCU needs to learn how to balance comic accuracy and being realistic. Oh sh×t, I typed a lot more than I thought😬🤐
