His most significant NHL time came in 1981, when as an injury replacement he scored 10 goals and 14 assists in only 39 games. Boudreau played eight seasons in the NHL overall, all but the last (a seven-game stint for the Chicago Black Hawks in 1986) for the Maple Leafs, scoring 28 goals and 42 assists in 141 games.

He did play on and off for the Leafs in the late 70s and early 80s. I think they drafted him in '75. He was on the last Toronto Marlboros team to win the Memorial Cup. Never really got a fair chance(I think) with the Leafs and was constantly being sent back down to the farm club. He got called up for the disastrous 1981 playoff against the Islanders,one of the true low points for the Leafs. He scored in game two. Leafs lost 9-2,5-1 and 6-1. I think he won a scoring title in the AHL and was still playing in the minors as recently as 1993,something I only found out about by accident.
