IT´S TRUE WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT THE SOUND. THE PRODUCTION ON THE ALBUM IS SORT OF ´´EXPERIMENTAL´´ IN A WAY, REMEMEBER THIS WAS 1994, FUCKING GRUNGE WAS TAKING EVERYTHING OVER AND SOME MUSICIANS WITH A MORE TRADITIONAL ROCK BACKGROUND WERE KIND OF ´´LOST´´ TRAYING TO KEEP UP WITH THAT ¨MODERN¨ SOUND ( ALMOST ALL OF THEM WITH POOR RESULTS ). FOR INSTANCE ´´SHOOT ALL THE CLAWNS´´ I THINK IS A POWERFULL SONG BUT THE RAP IN THE MIDDLE MAKES ME PUKE !!!. SOME EXAMPLES I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW: Carnival of Souls ( KISS ), ANGRY MACHINES ( DIO ), DEATH ROW & PREDATOR ( ACCEPT ), GENERATION SWINE ( MOTLEY CRUE ), I`M SURE THERE MANY MORE CASES LIKE THESE... 90´S WAS A SHITTY DECADE FOR TRADITIONAL HARD ROCK AND METAL, EVEN FOR SOFT ROCK AND POP ( TAKE A LOOK AT THE RELEASES BY PHIL COLLINS, MADONNA, BRYAN ADAMS, ETC. ) ALL OF THIS WAS Chris Cornell & KURT COBAIN´S FAULT. @@anibalspinelli4004 I actually really like nirvana, really the only grunge band I do like but at the time I never thought I'd hear Bruce doing grunge, mind you Bruce has said he liked Soundgarden a lot, totally understand him wanting to do things completely different to what he did in maiden but not sure about him doing grunge stuff skunk works was his most Soundgarden album, I actually prefer tattooed millionaire overall to both those albums but his best solo is accident of birth.

Yes. It's a very good album, with a great sound! The album name is Balls to Picasso from Bruce's solo carreer. Buy the album. DON'T listen to it on spotify or those shitty sites. The stereo has the best sound for this album. So buy the CD! 💿

Was a bit disappointed when I first heard balls to Picasso, I think the songs are fine, it's just the production is a bit weak and the songs sound a bit thin and not as powerful as they could, which is why alive in a studio sounds better.
