Great goal keeper and very entertaining in goal, I remember him doing hand stands in goal and walking on his arms at the baseball ground Derby, John Burridge (Budgie) was just the same. Grobb is a legend.

A great goalkeeper but now tarnished fraudulently for a quick wad of notes. There is a compendium of his great saves & if you view his very iffy saves it stands out a mile. He makes such a hash of it, trying to look like he's going for it & then he pulls out of it. Laughable if it wasn't so serious.

@@Deadeye1967 The court ultimately awarded him £1 as they said behaving in the manner he did meant he had no reputation left to malign. As for 'çlearing his name'- well, he was acquitted on a technicality. The DPP messed up the charges and he was charged with " Letting goals in for money" which could never be definitely proven. Had he been charged with " Accepting bribes/money to let in goals" then he was bang-to-rights. He was filmed accepting cash and admitted it in open court. Either way, his conduct was despicable and his name should be scrubbed from the Liverpool history.
