@@seanmetro3496 Maybe it wasn't an accident. Bruce Lee's best director friend died unexpectedly. Bruce Lee died unexpectedly. Bruce Lee's son, also a martial arts star, died unexpectedly. His son died in filming. The killer loaded the prop gun and another actor didn't know how to shoot him during filming. When Bruce Lee had a headache and was in a coma, a woman called his friend to come first, and then his friend sent him to the farthest hospital. This series is like a conspiracy.

Fight scene actually more realistic then a lot of movies today. Those nunchucks really can lay multiple people down quick like that in the right hands. As for them coming in on at a time, they were taking orders from that fat guy and in most fangs, if you don't do what your told, your dead so I guess they rather face getting knocked out by a guy that can tell is not trying to kill them verses facing whatever their boss will do
Bruce Lee did say he specifically exaggerated things for his films. I’m sure there were bits of realism in there too though.

@@randalwung8715 I think he would have made more American movies, but I honestly don't know if he would have stayed in the film industry forever. Movies for him seemed to be a vehicle to spread knowledge and appreciation of martial arts... so maybe he would have done something else in that realm, e.g. setting up a chain of schools for jeet kun do
@randalwung87157 күн бұрын
@@rorz999According to what Black Belt publisher Mito Uyehara told John Little, Bruce talked about returning to L.A. and starting a school where he taught JKD, Hayward Nishioka taught judo, and get this, Mito taught AIKIDO. Still, that would've been ONE school; the notion of a chain had long since passed, which is why Dan Inosanto was told to close up the JKD schools and, if he was going to keep anything going, to stick to the "backyard" format where limited numbers of students received personalized instruction. As for other possibilities, who knows? There's a good chance he'd have ventured into books, tapes, videos on martial arts, philosophy, fitness, self-help, business, marketing, filmmaking, etc. He described his vision of a more realistic tournament to L.A. student Richard Bustillo, which involved not only no-holds-barred, one-on-one, empty hand combat but multiple opponents and weapons-the winner of all that being a true, well-rounded warrior. Oh, and then there's politics. Not saying he had any such aspirations, but as one of the most compelling and articulate speakers around and a US citizen, he could've run for CA governor or, yes, PRESIDENT. I mean, if there was anyone world leaders and people in general would have listened to and respected, it was the Little Dragon.

And yes some of bruces ideas in his books sound smart until you realise they dont work in an actual fight. I give bruce credit where its due, jkd was the birth of MMA after all, but Bruce never succeeded anywhere as a fighter, unlike say chuck norris who actually won tournaments en masse and according to chuck who sparred a LOT with Bruce, Bruce was enthusiastic but not good which is why chuck won all their sparring matches and thats despite Karate being pretty shitty as a fighting system.

No they're all high slick impossible to imagine how you do it kind of Action Jackson movies.The beauty of Lee's movies is that although his moves are blindingly fast you can imagine yourself in some way doing it,but now it's from the sublime to the ridiculous.

The dub is hilarious. And in the end Bruce Lee telling them to leave, which in the original was obviously for the translator to say it in English to the boss, but since they all speak in English it hilariously makes no sense. lmao

What made Bruce different from the rest was his rhythm. He literally moved to the beat of his own music. While guys like Jacky, Jet and Donnie moved to a regular set of rhythm, Bruce broke the rhythm and changed the tempo at will. If martial artists were music, Jackie, Jet and Donnie were Disco, Funk and Rock n Roll while Bruce was Jazz.
