@@cuzz63 Confirmed by who? I haven't seen anything that is actually quoted from Jackman and Linda has told a few different versions over the years. If something is confirmed there would be only 1 version. There were others there but there is either no actual quite from them or they were never named so can't be traced and therefore there is no reliable information. Ultimately when there are this many conflicting stories and it's the Bruce Lee fan club singing them this fight is simply a story no matter how 'accepted' you may think it is.

I also noticed you said it was Bruce Lee's only 'confirmed' fight as an adult. Do you have any evidence of him fighting as a child? From what I researched he was an actor in film and at the Opera house, not really the kind of environment you can show up with black eyes and bruised knuckles. I would love to see solid link to this info too please.

Gaining weight period whether it be muscle or fat will slow you down. It’s actually even proven that mass weight gain, even in the form of muscle, has the same negative impact that being fat does on your heart and cardiovascular system. That being said being lean and Maintaining muscle strength is optimal for being a fighter. In cases like Mike Tyson, he incorporated a lot more training focused on endurance and speed which allowed him to be the outlier of people who have size and mobility/speed, which isn’t commonly observed in most people of that weight class.

I learned about Bruce Lee from the movie Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. I first I didn't think he was an actual person until I saw his last film Enter The Dragon. Years later I researched him and learned other things too. He has siblings, he's part German (I think), his dad did theater work, he didn't learn Kung Fu until he was a teenager, and he use to be a child actor in China. It's a shame that Biopic movies don't portray these people as accurately as possible.

There's only one movie that emphasized his high school days that's based on his brother Robert Lee's Memoirs. Even that was embellished by the film makers to make things more interesting. The one thing that was interesting about that movie was, it showed how freaking rich Bruce Lee's family was in Hong Kong.
