People tend to forget how long ago (in terms of fitness science) it was when Bruce was doing all this stuff. He didn't have access to all the information we do now, and came up with most of his diet and training through careful study and practice. That's what makes it all so interesting. To see what he got right all those years ago. Also as someone who lives in Asia and has done for years, seeing you eat that congee was painful haha.

This is my favorite “eating like *blank* for a day” video you’ve done so far. Firstly, because Bruce Lee was a very huge and influential role model for me growing up. Especially, to my older brother who essentially raised us. Many of his teachings and beliefs were taught or instilled in us. I appreciate you bringing such a mountain of a man to light and giving a small insight into his routine. People of such caliber have always been scarce; especially in today’s day in age. There’s a lot to learn from individuals, like him. Secondly, (as always) your video made me chuckle and laugh, several times out loud. I was genuinely interested from the start. Learned some information I didn’t know. And was entertained the whole time. You raise the bar with every video you do, Will. Keep up the good work, I’m very happy to have found your channel and to view your content.

On the topic of tender meats - I read/watched somewhere that Chinese restaurants (maybe not all of them, don't know how true it is) usually work with lower quality meat cuts to keep the prices down. Those are usually more chewy and so they soak the meats in water with baking soda mixed in for about 20-30min to an hour and the result is incredibly tender meat. Tried it, have been preparing meat that way ever since.

I just have to say, I thought this video was amazing! One of my favorites so far. A lot of it was relatable (especially the nunchuck training lol). As a martial artist myself, Bruce Lee is one of my biggest role models. I even once did a biography on him for a school project. Sadly, I did not get to learn about his diet and exercise routine, so seeing this was amazing. Seeing the way your role models trained makes you feel like you finally got the whole story. I knew he had a very strict diet & workouts, but I was disappointed that I never got more details. Now that I’ve seen it, it’s no question as to why he was one of the best. And the time he was alive, there was more limited knowledge on nutrition, so seeing how much thought he put into everything was brilliant. It was probably one of his natural habits as a philosopher. I’ll also be trying a few of these exercise routines! They make a lot of sense. Again, thank you for this awesome video 👏👏👏

@@grumpyolddan for me, Gregg's content is very limiting and Wills is more in depth with a different outlook completely and I enjoy the seperateness of each contributor. With the collab coming up of Gregg training Will I'm not so keen to see too much of Gregg on Will. Just my own feelings, thks

About organ meat: chop up the liver (chicken or pork), roast it on onions, add salt and pepper, add some rice or potatoes and pickles to your plate, and its pretty tasty. High in protein too.

"The way chinese people handle their meat is incredible. Admirable actually." Lmao

Hahaha you're brave to try the pork liver. I used to live in Asia and it took me about 3 months to get used to the taste and texture, it's not my favorite thing to eat but depends on the cooks and the freshness of the liver itself they can actually be quite tasty. Most Chinese restaurants used a ton of baking soda to tenderize the meat so it's actually not that good for the consumers' health.

The thing that always throws me about eating organs is it makes me very conscious of my own corresponding organ.

Excuse me you said he was famous for a one finger punch. But he was actually famous for the ONE INCH PUNCH . And he learned this from GRAND MASTER YIP MAN MASTER of WING CHUN KUNG FU when he was a teen growing up in HONGKONG. I would like to know where did you his diet and recipe from ? Other then that . Great video.
