The genius of Vince McMahon was surrounding himself with the right wrestling people to cover for his shortcomings on that end and being a ruthless businessman. He was also the boss of everybody. Think of Vince as wrestling Dr. Dre. Dre needed ghostwriters and other producers to work as a team for his stuff. But he was the main guy, the orchestrator, the guy making the tough decisions at the end of the day and he knew who to get to fill in the blanks and how to draw that extra something special out of somebody.

And Mick only problem was not staying retired after the triple h hiac he's even said that if anything he should have retired after the Orton match. If not the triple h one. Vince wasn't as much of a genius outside of Hogan and taker just about every single other top star was someone else's idea or the talent themselves idea that got them over.
