Whether solo, with The E Street Band or with this band, no one comes close to him. Followed him since 1975. And he’s my hero. I’d also say that imho the two albums toured with this band are so underrated and actually better than some of the ones with the E Street Band

Guys who are underrating Human Touch (album and your) are sad I mean the video itself shows that Bruce is just on a whole different level And it’s great to see how it looks during these shows, he played great great songs in NJ 92 (Open All Night, Sandy, Dancing in the Dark etc)

I count my blessings that this point in Springsteens career was short-lived. After this tour, this backup band was gone. Even though a full reunion with them wasn't in the cards until 1999, if he had to perform at a stadium event Springsteen was backed by The E Street Band.

@@Saintinthecity-wh9nl Agreed....Human Touch is too slick in its production...some of those songs, like Real World, are decent songs and were much more effective in the original stripped down versions he did during the Christic Institute shows. When he did the HT album he later admitted some the songs got away from him on the record.. Some of the the songs just suck period....Cross My Heart, Pony Boy, etc etc

@@Saintinthecity-wh9nl Easily found on youtube...just look up Real World Christic Institute 1990....The Christic institute shows were two solo acoustic benefit shows he did in November 1990 with Jackson Brown and Bonnie Raitt....His first shows in 2+ years after he. broke up the E street band. He included several songs he had been working on the time that would end up on Human Touch....57 Channels is another one that was much better without all the production. Also, the solo 2005 Devils and Dust tour was another chance to see some of these songs in a stripped down setting. All can be found on KZbin I'm sure or if you're so inclined his website has the two Christic shows and a few 2005 shows for sale in his live release series....highly recommended. Enjoy! Let me know what you think. Actually if you just look up Bruce Springsteen Christic Institute...there's actual decent video from the concert too.
