The greatest live performer I've ever seen. As Clarence lay dying, Bruce sat by his side and played his guitar for him and was there when he passed. 😢

I saw him in Chicago, in 1985, at Soldier Field and when he came out to do ANOTHER encore (after 4 hours!!) he sang "Sherry Darling" and I screamed, "Bruce, I'm here! I'm Sherri!!"

My best friend in high school was named Sherri. She was a huge fan of Bruce and The E Street Band. When Sherry Darling would play, she would stop whatever she was doing and share a knowing smile with me. I lost her six years ago. Now when I hear this beautiful song, I stop whatever I am doing and knowingly smile. Sherri girl, I miss you oodles and caboodles. Thank you to Bruce, Clarence, Patti, and the band and fans for making the world better.

This song makes me smile. Oh what the 80's were to so many! We lived in the greatest era of music ever produced. a teenager when Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruce S., Van Halen, Tom Petty, Tina Turner, and on and on were in their prime. We had them all. There was so much great music, I knew it then that I didn't want it to end. I appreciated it back then, and knew it was a once n a lifetime era. Wow, the 80's!

....lol u mean that the tune is silly? or just funny? I realize my age sometimes and it hits me like a sledge lol. I made a young friend of mine a cd once and just knew he was gonna love Black Cat by Janet Jackson. I think it just embarrassed him lmao. I guess I just don't hear that same melodic feel in Lady Ga Ga, Justin Beeb, n such, that almost any song from the 80's had. I'm old

I look on the left side and I see the same guitar that Bruce is playing in this video clip in the edge of my room. Fender American Deluxe Telecaster in butterscotch blonde, maple neck, ash body with awesome Danny Gatton/Joe Barden T-Style pick ups onboard! That guitar got a soul because I had let shipped it from a guitar shop in New Hampshire, USA to germany. This guitar was used by an guitarist for 8 years before!
