Fantastic job shooting all that!!! Very steady, and I liked the pan of the crowd during "Shout". Thanks for hanging steady for 14 minutes!!! We know it wasn't easy, but it sure paid off.

+Ed Millner Thanks, Ed...I'll admit two things: 1. My arms got tired holding my phone up over my head this long. I only planned to shoot part of 10th Ave. because I knew Bruce would be walking right by us. After I saw Seger onstage, I had to keep it going. 2. When KZbin offered to "fix" my jittery uploaded video, I accepted. I could only contain myself so long during "Shout"!
@EdCali18 жыл бұрын
+Darrin Lightner 1. This again shows how you overachieved. 2. That jitter fix is greatly noticeable on truly shaky videos. I didn't see that here. I bail on most hand-held concert videos. This one kept me glued.

Bob Seger enters during the song as Bruce is singing "The Big man joined the band...". This video, with the house lights all on, really shows just how FUN *Bruce's* shows are! He's legendary. I last saw him in 2002 on *The Rising* tour and now that he's lost *Danny* and *Clarence* I probably won't see him again... it just wouldn't be the same with two other people in place of original *E Street Band* members. But from 1981 to 2002, I saw a bunch of exciting, emotional and fun shows!!! *Bruce*... just keep rocking my man!!!

What an extraordinary video & just love, love, love Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band! What a great job the person filming this did filming this concert! He made it so interesting by filming the band up close, the reactions of the crowds & panning it frequently, showing all of the fans! Love how this video seemingly shows “everything!” Love this blog( I subscribed) & I adore Bruce Springsteen! Bruce is just extraordinary, the way he goes down into the audience itself, & not just the first few rows either but “deep into the audience “, to shake the fans hands, dance, & sing with so many! The person making this video captured all the “special moments” & for the first time ever, I felt like I was actually “there at his concert!!!”Great job filming this, I have to say ( love Utube too!) for it kept my attention the whole time! Love Bruce & E Street Band & songs they sang! What a thrill it was watching this video & I watched it start to finish, too, might I add. ♥️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️❤️❤️💜❤️💜❤️

This is such a SPECIAL song. You really have to understand the context of the situation of which this song is being performed and why in which this is being made to be sooo special. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN is letting BOB SEGER sing along with him to a song that is very very SPECIAL to him and one in which he's never allowed anyone else to sing with him before. This song is a song he sang for his own MOTHER. Bruce is bestowing an unbelievble honor on BOB SEGER here in this situation. I hope all you BOB SEGER fans reeally understand how utterly astounding and unbelievable this situation is of what has happened in this context of this concert. You all should be very GRATEFUL to BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN for him coming to your area and allowing you all to experience something that many people in your area would not normally have the right to experience. I hope you really do appreciate it and write to your congressman and have them contact your representatives so that they can contact their representatives and maybe even the President to let them know that BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN himself went out of his way to go from NEW JERSEY and went to DETROIT, MICHIGAN AND SHARED the special music that is usually reserved for the most special of people on the East Coast of the United Stattes of America. Enjoy and never stop rocking to the best-BOB SEGER. AND THE SIVER BULLET BAND.

Fuckin' killer Darrin. From the first time experiencing Springsteen and the E-Street Band in 1976 in the 4th row of the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA, where the 4th song of the set was Eric Burdon's "It's My Life" and tickets cost a whopping $6.50 to last Thursday at the Palace, Bruce has never left anything in the tank. Your video provides a living testimony to the strength, power, and majesty of a Springsteen concert. Your 360 pano was a nice touch. As Captain Hook would say; "Good Form!"

A couple of guys who used to hang out a bit in the late 70's/early 80's. I guess Seger spent some time at The Power Station in NYC while The Boss was recording the "The River." For the first time in his career, Bob was having real problems with getting his classic "Against The Wind" record finished and reached out to Bruce for some advice and help in the studio. There are also a couple of real cool stories about Bruce and Tom Petty hanging around the Sunset Strip during the late 70's. Petty asked for Bruce's advice during his own lawsuit ordeal. Bruce told him to keep playing live and don't give into the fuckers in the suits. All three of these men are unique in 70's music in that they all signed solo recording deals but had LEGENDARY backup bands that we so incredible that it was hard to think of them as backup bands.

Most all of the people who enjoy this footage have good taste in music (or what I CALL "good taste"?), so do yourselves a big favor & go purchase or download an old Bog Seger LP of cover tunes, SMOKIN OP'S. Check out his version of a Grateful Dead standard "Turn On Your Lovelight." It was first performed in 1962 by a great singer named Bobby Bland and sounds like something Otis Day might have done in Animal House. So many great bands have covered this classic, including....Bob Seger, The Blues Brothers, Black Crowes, Jerry Garcia Band & Grateful Dead. (just to name a few) The guitar work is really nice. It could be Drew Abbot from the Silver Bullet Band, but I am not certain?! So check it out & thank me later. Believe me, you will want want to , if you love it even half as much as I do. It's not like anyone else does it and just might be my favorite version?
