Through my good decisions in life, as well as my bad decisions, there has been one constant. The music of Springsteen. His stories and lyrics either got me through my dark days, or they helped me appreciate the good days. They helped me realise when I was on top of the world, and also helped me realise when I was at my weakest. There’s an old saying that goes “when you’re on top of the world you hear the music, but when you’re at rock bottom you understand the lyrics”. Bruce has been there for both.

You can feel the genuine love Bruce had for Clarence. To watch him dance with his sax player on stage was pure delight. Who does that? Bruce is all heart and soul.

First time i ever saw Bruce Springsteen live in my life was in 2016 and it was pouring rain. Bruce sang "Have you ever seen it rain on a sunny day" and the rain stopped and the flippin' sun came out!
@angus72785 жыл бұрын
Maybe that miracle was a little further back in time...all Bruce's shows in 2018 were in the Walter Kerr Theatre in NYC.

@@angus7278 This is the one comment i appreciate being wrong on, it was 2016! I made a rough estimate, i was wrong! My experience with seeing my late fathers fav artist live with my mother was worth being two years off on! We all have diffrent relationships to the Boss. Thou the one thing we can all agree on, whether, when, why, how, if you like him!? The gosh dang message is too bright!

This is one of the reasons why I love being from Jersey! The shore, the sports, and Mr Bruce Springsteen!!! I’m 41 and grew up listening to him and the E Street Band, walking through same streets he did and still does. If this video doesn’t bring a smile to your face, then brother, you don’t know the beauty and healing power of music and friendship!!

This is why he’s one of the most successful artists in history. When he is this genuine, this generous of spirit, this committed, shows such little phony bullshit (lots of people try this & look like BS), has a band this professional, tasteful and tight, it’s almost impossible to not buy it.
