As Much as I liked a Dame to Kill for, it didn't have..THIS. Hartigan. Hartigan's film noir style of story was what really made Sin City for me. So him not having that much screen time was a bit disappointing.

To be honest, at least half of the shots he took were to non-lethal areas. Of course, in reality, getting shot in the shoulder would be so painful you'd go down instantly, much less getting shot in _both_ shoulders and the side.

Bob is a corrupt cop motivated by money, that doesn't mean that he doesn't care at least a little bit about his old partner. But of course in the end Bob did decide to kill him when he realized that Hartigan can't be reasoned with. Hartigan wasn't in any position to expose anyone, since they painted him as a rapist, that's why he was imprisoned for all those years.
