Just love that beginning scene. Just shows Marv's incredible power and the will driving him on. That creaking and groaning of the steel bars as he bends them, the crumbling of the bricks and morter as it starts to give. The comedic "CLONK" when the bars and section of wall falls upon him stands up, dusts himself off..."lets go." Dont think you can get more badass as Marv!!!!!
@MioRaem Жыл бұрын
Agreed. However, I always thought there's also a certain humor in this film that was utterly absent from the graphic novel. Perhaps it was a byproduct of the now moving images, of the various performances. In this scene, I wouldn't have minded if Marv, as he gets up after falling down with the bars, lets out a little "Ouch". Then turned around and said, "let's go." It's not a big thing, but I think it would have offered a tiny glimpse of humanity in all the carnage he dishes out. But no biggie, Rourke carried this film either way.
