Lost-Jack- If we dont work together, we'll die alone. Look up the scene. There is a lot of truth in it. I am by no means a social person, but humanity has to be somewhat social to survive. We're the dominant species on this planet and we HAVE to learn to tolerate each other, or we are not going to be able to make it work. I am not being a dick when I say it's a miracle that we have made it this far. We are, in our very existence, a statistical anomaly. I believe in a higher power, and I think he has to be somewhat proud that we made it this far. He also criticizes how the media use propaganda to brainwash people; and the government is owned by the wealth. There's some of his quotes: "We look the other way when things turn sour. Bury ourselves in our jobs. Consume propaganda masquerading as entertainment..." "And what becomes of a society that's given up? It rots." "Fidelity. Once upon a time that's what defined society. People coming together in pursuit of common cause. To care for each other. To protect and provide... But now... It's all backwards. We worship at the alter of competition. We build fortresses around ourselves. We fight. We betray. We have become the things we feared." He starts to share his view on Batman at 1:59 Batman's silence is so cool. He doesn't need to defend himself. If you don't want to lose a fight, don't get into one.

Batman characters are always so well written even from an anarchist perspective (& i love Batmans character & the story of Gotham & everything that makes them), Lonnie Machin is a fuckin kid who saw his world hurting & wanted to change it. But being a child anarchist extremist is such an easy mentality to latch on to for a lot of ppl like him because of their unnatural twisted environment. But his biggest flaw is he doesnt know how to use his skills for the right things, he could be changing psyches with speeches & organizing revolution given some time. But because hes still a developing person he doesnt know exactly what to think, & does things out of desperation for a better world rather than compassion & efforts through community solidarity. Yet another Batman character thats a product of Gotham being a cesspool of greed & villainy, but in the most compassionate & sanest way out of everyone else

I know the meme is "As a child you idolize Batman, as an adult you realize Jokers right", but......I'm not wholly certain what it means to realize one more often than not sympathizes with, even empathizes with, the so-called "villains" of a story more than the so-called "heroes". Maybe that's the trick. Maybe we use villains to speak truth, hidden under the guise of the "bad guy who gets beaten." Hmm.

@@HotaruZoku lmao, what's with all the drama? joker isn't deep. he's just obsessed with the batman and thinks chaos is hilarious. that's it, there's nothing more there. and liking dark and edgy villains _is_ classic preteen behaviour, that's just a fact. i should know, i was that way too! i mean, look, i've loved villains and hated protagonists all my life, and batman is a perfect example of this. but bruce wayne isn't unlikable because he's secretly wrong or evil or anything, he's just unlikable because he's boring as fuck. crazy characters are automatically interesting, quiet/serious characters are much harder for a writer to make people care about. it's why he's so often written as overly angsty and/or an asshole, as a shortcut to a real personality. people will always feel more attached to flawed/broken characters than otherwise; villains are most often in that category (especially in cases where censorship means that heroes have to be purely good with no real depth) so naturally... people feel for them.

Who in there right minds would ever agree or relate to the joker? Joker has no purpose, he just does what he does. He’s not hustling for money or doing crime because he is someone in need. No he just likes to cause chaos. There is nothing for joker to be “right” or to “agree” about, he just causes chaos. He’s a villain, and meant to be only a villain. That’s why people love the joker, even as children. As for all of the other villains yeah at least you can sympathize or relate with some of them to a way lesser degree than what those villains actually do, but in the end many of them are still villains. Not so-called villains, but straight up just villains. They hurt innocents for often selfish or dumb reasons without care. Meanwhile the heros simply want to save other people and prevent those villains from causing great harm to others and the hero themselves.

The fact that people agree with Anarky completely missed the point. 1: Anarky treats and used his henchmen Like pawns. They could have had their freedom without committing crimes. Nobody forces anyone to work or use money. 2: Anarky tried to murder thousands of people with explosives. This is a deranged attempted murderer. 😀 3: The fact that Anarky tries to team up with batman just goes to show how deluded he truly was and most likely never meant anything he said. TLDR version: Anarky is an edglord

I have to disagree with some comments here-I think Anarky is very confused and doesn't rlly know where he's coming from fully and is clouded with a bunch of stuff-seems very jealous for no good reason-irrelevant whether Batmans better than them-and he says that as if he isn't caring and looking after the city that was definitely crumbling before he started and has the city's best interests at heart, he's not perfect and Joker etc came from him but he almost def does more good than bad-especially if you consider his work with the Justice League. Also Anarky was going to blow people up just for being neutral which shouldn't be a crime in itself just not rlly worthy of any praise(or criticism/murder) IMO Also he changes his mind on both working with batman and on the bombs back and forth within minutes
