I'm sorry but, Anarky is like the "V for Vendetta" of DC Comics; he's about going up against the government for the corruption of the system, here, he's just another supervillain to fight right in with the other rogues. Doesn't feel like the Anarky we know today.

@@zacharybyrum166 Actually this version makes a lot more sense because anarchy is means lawlessness and is also often used as another word for chaos. So him wanting to spread chaos throughout an entire city makes a lot more sense than wanting there to be laws.

@@tdasmal3622 anarchy the word comes from the ancient greek words an, a prefix meaning absense of something, and archos, meaning king, leader, or authority. So a state of anarchy is one without a clear hierarchical authority.

This anarky is way more joker like for my tastes, it’s clear they didn’t want to overuse the joker but they needed a replacement so they took this character. If your looking for a more comic accurate version of anarky look at his side quest in Arkham origins, it’s way more accurate to his character and he’s one of the highlights of the game, he has one of the better quests out of them all,

I LOVE this version of Anarky. They made him as mysterious as Slade, even smarter than Riddler, as heavily equipped as an armory, and as good as fighting as Batman himself! If I am able to make a Lego Batman series that I have planned I can’t wait to cover the arc he’s in as the main antagonist. #Anarky

For me, 1:59 is where he officially becomes Joker Lite. An anarchist thinks the rules of society are crazy and a total lack of law will bring a better life somehow, so Anarky's motive falls apart if he calls his own attitude madness.

Honestly, both TDK Joker and BTB Anarky kind of feel like the writers were trying to combine Joker and Anarky. And while both TDK Joker and BTB Anarky were memorable, I feel like they both kind of missed the point. I don't need to explain why Anarky is out of character, but TDK Joker seems to be accepted as being exactly like comic Joker, and I don't agree. With Joker, what he does is NOT supposed to be about sending a message. Joker is a nihilist. He's not trying to engineer the collapse of civilization or anything, he's just blowing things up because he wants to. Sure, he has his "one bad day" philosophy, but that's more specific to his fight with Batman and friends. He sees Batman as his fated rival, and the only grand statements he's willing to make are for Batman's sake and no one else's.
