Bruce Springsteen’s “Secret Garden” feels like it was written for all of us. It speaks to the quiet battles we fight, the love we hold onto, and the hope that keeps us going. It’s not just a song-it’s a piece of our hearts, reminding us we’re not alone.

Reading these comments I feel like this is another slightly misunderstood Springsteen song. It’s about how even if you love someone and know them better than anyone, there’s always a part of them they will keep hidden from you. You’ll never know them completely, no matter how much you want to and how much you try. It’s beautiful and sad and true. But it’s not some purely joyful love song.

I wrote obituaries for a little newspaper in a country town. I'd talk to someone whose closest friend had died. It stunned me all those years ago and still does now, when I realized that two people can know one another for decades and hardly know much at all. Make sure, when you love someone, to take care and take time to explain what you share, how it feels, and celebrate those times. We are all packed to leave here ... anytime.

Song,,; She'll let you in her house If you come knocking late at night She'll let you in her mouth If the words you say are right If you pay the price She'll let you deep inside But there's a secret garden she hides She'll let you in her car To go drivin' 'round She'll let you into the parts of herself That'll bring you down She'll let you in her heart If you got a hammer and a vise But into the secret garden, don't think twice You've gone a million miles How far'd you get? That place where you can't remember And you can't forget She'll lead you down the path There'll be tenderness in the air She'll let you come just far enough So you know she's really there And she'll look at you and smile And her eyes will say She's got a secret garden Where everything you want Where everything you need Will always stay A million miles away

To me, this song a about a girl who has been through a lot but still tries to let people in to attempt to move forward in most aspects but she’ll never is going to be her true self at the end of the day. With that said, the other person needs to accept that and still love her or leave. She’s never is going to be content with anything in her life. A Complex’s girl that needs a person just to let her be just that and love her unconditionally knowing that she won’t give you her whole heart. Her heart is with a past love that she lost!
