Where I used to work there was a LeTourneau L-2350 that was at the time the largest loader built .. Maybe Komatsu bought them out Im not sure .. Definitely not the largest wheel loader known to man as advertised. The largest wheel loader known to man is formally known as the LeTourna P&H 2350 Now the Komatsu P&H L2350 which the wheels alone are taller than that Kawasaki wheel loader at 16ft high. The loader alone weighs a staggering 587,000 pounds. Its bucket is 70 cubic yards and is literally the largest ever made wheel loader and bucket ever made.

Hello, Bruce Wilson. While the 'Kwacker' 95Z was a good loader in its day, it was NEVER "the biggest loader known to man", not even when it first came on the market. Try looking up the Caterpillar 992 or 994 or the LeTourneau L2350. That said, I do hope you get it working again as they were a good machine. Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t being serious. He just means that it’s a pretty big loader, especially to just leave it because the hose blew. At a fairly new truck stop in Tennessee, they left a couple of D8’s and two single engine Cat Scrapers years ago when they originally cut out the lots, and now they have trees growing through them.

Common hydraulic fluids are based on mineral oil or water.[1] Examples of equipment that might use hydraulic fluids are excavators and backhoes, hydraulic brakes, power steering systems, automatic transmissions, garbage trucks, aircraft flight control systems, lifts, and industrial machinery. it is not oil it is a liquid

Looks like it’s about the same size as a 980 cat or a 275 Michigan and if it’s older than 78 it’s a small cam Cummins fwiw🤷‍♂️

Here's a little story. In reading all the comments, people are referencing all these large loaders. It was back in the 70's and I was working at a large steel mill. I was at a sub station this night. There was a large sandy dune grass field with a road going to the station. It had been snowing hard all afternoon and evening. There at 2 feet of snow and I was stuck. I saw a loader going down the main road (1/4 mile away). I called him on the radio to get plowed out. He said didn't know where road was and if he plowed a path on the sand I'd get stuck for sure. So plan "B". He said get in. I'm like the cab. No, the bucket. He cleared a spot in the parking area and I parallel parked my full size Ford F-250 van in the bucket and gave me a "lift" to the main road. That was cool!

Dummies shouldn't buy hydrolic equipment, running that machine low of hydrolic oil for mere minutes will DESTROY the pumps on that machine, costing tens of thousands of dollars. If you can't afford to put fluid in it, you probably shouldn't have bought it.

If you get it reworked these pieces are going for big bucks right now. Customers are looking for quality used pieces w zero DEF systems. I’d rebuild it and sell it.

4 miles? Just drive it. Lot easier than loading and hauling a machine like that. Also, can't believe you paid the tire company to air the tires up. Thought these videos were supposed to be about Bruce and team working on stuff? I was really looking forward to watching you air up the tires:)

If you only have 4 miles to go you probably get it classifies as a construction vehicle and, with proper lights and escort vehicles, just drive it home. You see vehicles that size on construction projects along highways frequently. Won't cost anything to ask authorities for permission.

With all the crap in the world today (and crap slinging politicians), it’s refreshing to watch decent human beings honoring ingenuity and engineering, to bring awesome machinery to life. Just pure fun. Great work!

What a piece of crap.Wait until you need parts.I'm really surprised a tire guy would even work on those dry rotted tires @ 5:30.I would be nervous walking near those when aired up.Good luck

*- How much can you do for a full and proper cleanup & refurbish/rebuild & repaint?* *- What would that bring at auction or custom sale* *- What would/could you use the earned capital from doing that to pay for or build next?*
