I say go for it with an open air sandblaster (from what I’ve seen it’d be the most effective by far) if the Semi Casual guys will let you operate one in the shop! I’ve been really enjoying these past few videos cause the truck refurbishing and modification content is my favorite in addition to the hauling y’all show and "Will It Start" content!! Y’all keep up the awesome work and I can’t wait to see how the Tratter Taxi and Blue Collar turn out!!!
@bd5av8r1 Жыл бұрын
Semi Casual. :) You trust them with the Trotter Taxi, let them have Blue Collar. Second pick: Go to the Truck guy in TN that helped out with Blue Collar before. (Gentry) :) Gentry is doing total restos, thus the recommendation. (apologies) :)
@bd5av8r1 Жыл бұрын
SANDING: Try "Dustless blasting" they can set it so it doesn't strip it totally down, but leave enough paint and primer attached to make the new paint adhere to it.

When I worked for a Crown forklift We used either old pieces of small tubing, or wooden dowels wrapped with sandpaper, taped it down with duct tape, electrical tape..whatever at the one end to hold it in place. It worked well for getting inside bolt holes, and hard-to-get-to places.

Look for this stuff called ( wil bond ) u can find it certain paint stores and online it’s a surface prep it’ll do the same thing as sanding he just wipe it on takes the shine off of any paint surface Really good stuff and it makes the paint bond to it also that’ll help with getting into those hard-to-reach spots
