Retired LEO from south Florida... Trying to make noise? Can't blow his horn?!? Thanks for the video. I usually have to watch other channels to see my brothers in action. I figured at first that he was going back there to dump those white trash bags. If you don't want to scare customers away with no trespassing signs at the main gate, maybe put them up past the building in front of the trucks. Put one on both sides (driver & passenger) of the roads that go back to other areas. Write the date on the back of the signs showing when they were installed. POSTED PRIVATE PROPERTY NO TRESPASSING VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED or similar wording. Good luck!

I work for a towing/trucking company. It’s frustrating the amount of trespassers that we have. We’ve had batteries stolen out of one of our semis, wheel covers, all kinds of stuff. 2 things I can’t stand are liars and thieves

Add a second gate at the rear of the building with an opener. That will keep people out but still allow easy access for those with permission. It also allows potential clients to visit your business through the front door of your building while the rest of the property is locked up

Please post clean up videos... its great to share people being helpful to the environment around them. We pick up trash in our neighborhood and bring our kids with us when we do so they learn to leave no trash to keep things looking clean and well kept. Keeping trash out helps keep trash people out. My extended family (I have zero claim) has a very large homestead in the rural mountains of Idaho. It was homesteaded by my great grandfather, and it has been an active ranch for a long time. We scattered both my father's ashes there and my wife's ashes there. It is so far out, you have to know how to get there. My wife's family disowned her, so it was up to me to find her a final resting place. I told her entire family that if they want to go see where their daughter or mother (she has two kids) ashes are buried then you have to contact me first so I can contact my cousin to let them know they are coming (Out of respect, I tell my cousin when I go out there as well--not my land.). No trespassing! But the views are amazing (Teton Mountains!!!!)! Keep those drug addicts out. (There has to be a better solution, but alas, that is a different topic for a different day.) Oh: I should have added, the active ranch is a cattle ranch. Cattle rustling in Idaho comes with some pretty hefty fines. Yes, there are brand inspectors...you will be caught selling someone else's cows. And yes, our family active brand is still registered.

Install electric gates. Everyone has to report to the office FIRST before entering and the gates are opened and closed for that person only via a switch in the office or key fob/remote. Even if you have to move the gates up a little closer to the shop driveway so you can have a walking in entrance to the office only. And a camera! Or, convert those gates to electric and have a sign on the gate with your cell number so they can ring you and you can see them via the security camera and then you can open the gate via your phone or fob/remote controller. It is a pain in the butt but it's a pain in the butt because people don't respect other people's private property.

The gate on a road leading to another property with likely an easement to allow access for the back one. They have to get permission from both their landlord and the other property owner. prior to restricting access over above what they currently have permission to do. Also they are leasing the property, they don't own it, so you're talking about a major investment to setup what you suggest and frankly I doubt the landlord would agree to pay for it.

This is a problem thats getting worse and worse in Tennessee... To many transplants moving in bringing crime with them. I walked onto my back property and found someone stealing copper pipe out of my storage trailers, I live in BFE TN and these are BURIED on the back side where no one could see it. I was missing THOUSANDS of dollars in vintage VW and Harley parts(I got it all back eventually when they got caught). So I purchased some trip wire alarms from "Fith Ops" and Have caught several people in the few months i've had them installed....Y'all might look into purchasing some. I've also installed SEVERAL cameras on my property that connect into my wifi....Still building a gate.

One suggestion for you post a sign at gate stating everyone has to come to front office to get permission. Also put your phone number. Basically a driver, delivery or customer calls your number.you tell them you can open gate and meet them to verify everything snd you tell them where to go. Every large business and hospitals i work at do it this way

FYI basics of trespassing, not law just a function of how trespassing works. You must tell someone that they're trespassing and must leave and if they don't leave they cM be arrested for trespassing. Criminal trespassing is someone that's been told to leave and they return that becomes a criminal trespass. A higher level to citation or arrestable offense. I opine.
