@silkytsunami Those are euphoniums, bro. I understand your passion behind it all. However, Baritones don't have the same dark, deep tone as those euphoniums produce. Although a baritone can play the same notes as the euphonium, it will produce a much brighter tone. I was born into this marching band shit. East baton rouge, played in 5 different marching bands Glen oaks, Belair, than played in SU lab band eventually going to the Rose bowl in 08 with LLI under "Doc" Isaac Greggs and Doctor Carnell Knighten. They used call us baby jukebox.

Gotta love this! A feeling you never tire of missing. What an experience pumping 90s exciting crowds, your fellow band members, i. e. your fam, and even yourself. As a percussionist, we knew we were the shiat being the driving force of the band: we are the engine! But them dayum screaming azz trumpets thought they were God’s gift to the world. I guess bc it’s homecoming season so I’ve been watching KZbin videos of HBCU bands. I have to admit Southern’s musicianship always arrests my attention. Hands down they are the best sounding HBCU band. Second best especially for a small band is Bethune Cookman; I swear they are double in size from their sound but aren’t.❤❤❤❤

I hate crankin but Southern is controlled with theirs. Many can't say that. It would be more impressive if that power was produced without every brass section scream up 1 and 2 actives,.especially Tubas. No bottom at that range.
