As a Boston sports fan lifelong resident we have obviously had plenty of arrivals and a lot of rivalries but I can honestly say as a sports fan there is not a more Gutless Weasley and classless organization as the Montreal Canadiens💯 It's not even close

It wasn’t just that. It was the two goals in the game that brought an end to the Montreal jinx. It was two goals including the game tying goal in Game 2 of 1990. The sealer in Game 5 of that series. The three game winners in this series, including a Game 5 hat trick. It was all of it and so much more. It’s a shame that he couldn’t play longer.

@@williamkanejr3233 That's because your probably younger my friend ! Its a question of era. In 1955, the league decided teams wear colors at home and white on road. That arrangement was reversed in 1970, teams began wearing white at home. And then it was reversed again in 2003, when teams went back to wearing colors at home up to this day...Unfortunately for me because i was born in the 70's so we grew up with whites at home all the time so for us it still doesn't make sense even today. I never got use to it. For me it feels wrong. But for you it may be the norm. Of course some color jerseys are just more beautiful than their white version so i can understand someone who's fan of another team to prefer color. I'm in montreal so i greatly prefer the white version, it brights up the canadien logo right at center, it feels more powerful in some ways, but hey that's just my feeling and interpretation. Maybe it will reverse soon, who knows !
@williamkanejr3233
@williamkanejr3233 2 жыл бұрын
@@longann7560 I hope it doesn’t reverse. I’m just outside of Boston, so i like the Bruins wearing black at home. They’ve won two Stanley Cups when black was their home jersey color. I am 7 years too young to have lived during Bobby Orr’s OT goal against the Blues, but I’m definitely not too young for 2011. Two comebacks from 0-2, three Game 7s, and a blowout sweep of the team that embarrassed them the year before.

The Habs goal shouldn’t have counted what the heck, I mean we clearly saw the goal disloched of the ice and was no longer in it's right position. I mean when that happens now even if they score after the goal was disloched of the ice it doesn’t count. Well that was was a long time ago and I guess that not all of the rules of our time was applying at this time so it’s okay with me... so we won I guess. GO BRUINS!!! 💛🖤🤍🐻

Yeah in this series the Canadians we're cheap shotting like crazy with cross-checks way behind the play to the back and if I'm not mistaken Bourque took a two-handed swing to the back of the legs, not a slash, but a full two handed swing that dropped him to his knees and Neely came over and freaking leveled the dude and stood over him while he sat his ass on the ice and he wouldn't get up. I forget who it was, I want to say it was Courtenal or Carbenau but I could be wrong, but I have it on VCR. I have about six years of Bruins playoff games from the late 80s early 90s with some extreme heavy hitting series special against Hartford who both teams hated each other. Some real epic shit and it's all on the VCR LOL
