My college put every student in for the general studies exam. There technically was a lesson a week, but they didn't actually relate to the exam at all, so I never went. Rumour was the college got £500 for every student that passed, so it was worth the money just to make everyone sit it and take in the money for who passed regardless of any teaching input.
