My grandparents have one of these that leads from there basement up to there front door. For Halloween this year, my grandfather plans on "dressing" the chair lift up in a Halloween costume and placing a bowl of candy on it. When a kid rings the bell all that they will see is a "monster" slowly moving out of the basement with a bowl of candy. Can't wait to see how that one plays out!

I had to do a battery replacement on my lift. The very nice worker at that time, increased the speed on my chair. It is once again running slow, can you tell me how to increase the speed please?

Can you stand on that footrest and ride up? My brother has muscular dystrophy and he might not be able to get out of that chair. He would benefit from one you could just stand on close to floor level. If they make different platforms then that chair version.

we have a bruno stair lift and we are not happy. it is extremely slow. we have had to have it repaired several times. i have to tighten the seat nuts about every week or so or it will not stay up and out of the way. i see you quoting a $2000 price but we paid, if i remember right about $3000 and that was several years ago. i didnt do the research as i should have and recently realized that bruno isnt even in the top 10 stair lift. im thinking of getting rid of this one and haveing another brand installed.

Our Bruno chailift iss NOT extremely slow anad the warranty is outstanding - lifetime for the drivetrain components and 3 years for all other parts. I have reviewed Bruno lifts from almost 1000 users and their ratings are 4.8 stars out of five, which is light years ahead of the pack. Harmar is the absolute worst, as I can attest from having the unpleasant experience of dealing with them. Their chair designs are awfull, horrible, really bad.
