This is easier but the cover will twist and split.also take out the lift rods so you can check bushings in clapper box.👍

I used a sharp knife, those utility knives with replaceable blades work good

Utility knife but be careful even when the seem blunt they can still cut...I have scares on my hands because I slipped😁

Wouldn't the lube cause the covers to slip

As of today, the lift rod covers have held up and haven't moved! No issues here! If you feel it may slip, you can use a bit of paste on the rollers and slide the covers on. Hope this helps!

We could have gone with just the basic one rod cover for the purpose for the ball return, but we like it to look right inside the machine!

What's the diffrence between the tan peice and the blue one. And what's the name of the blue one. We have the Tan kind and it sucks.

So far to date, the covers have held up
