Afo isn't actually using a single quirk when he attacks. Every attack he has made so far was a combination of quirks, even when it was not specifically described. (As an example, the normal shock waves, not the huge one of the last episode, are probably made of: radio waves + strenght enchancer x3 + spring-like limbs +kinetic booster x 4 + air walk + his black lightning quirk. We do not know the name of this last quirk. Or the thing he used to attack Lady is probably a combination of strenght enhancer, rivets stab, his razor quirk and his mouth quirk, but we don't know the names of those two last quirks. Perhaps he used spearlike bones and springlike limbs in that attack as well. ) When he had his wounded body he had to limit the number of quirks he could use in succession and he could not draw out their full potential, now that he's back in his prime he no longer has those limitations, hence the larger and more powerful attacks.
