Nationalists used fascism to combat communism in Spain, Germany & Italy. But fascist states became economically successful & were seen as threats to the British & French empires. So they joined the Soviets to crush them. It was easier to compete with the Soviet economic policies & buy raw materials mined by slaves when sold to the West.

Antisemitism and Progroms were rampant in Russia before 1917, that's why many left to Austria-Hungary or USA for example. Then in 1917 a new system took over. Many but not all of the new masters had ties to the starofdavids.

Like most dictators, Stalin was a curious mixture of the banal and high culture. He actually like some forms of classical music but alas for Dmitri Shostakovich not most of his !! When Stalin was motivated, he had quite a good grasp of technical subjects. Stalin was an avid reader and expected his underlings and flunkies to be as well. He is said to have amassed a library of 20,000 books. But he also liked cartoons, of which political cartoons were a favourite. He especially like those of Boris Yefimov, who I’m led to believe once did a cartoon of the Arctic but without thinking 🤔 placed a penguin 🐧 in it. Stalin had a thing about factual and grammatical errors, so Yefimov had a few sleepless nights but got away with it !! It’s ironic considering Stalin himself blithely rewrote history …

It's a military rank. During the 30s the soviets had abandoned traditional rank names. In the video this is mentioned when he is said to be Divisioncommander, or KomDiv. This was a rank then. Later they restored the traditional ranks, like Major General, Lt General, General, Colonel General and then Marshal (they had several tiers of Marshal). Other examples in the Navy Lt. Commander or in the Army Lt Colonel or Sgt Major

No, Hitler had a normal stache pre ww1. There is a Photo from 1914 in Munich, war was declared in a public square and you can see Hitler there with a normal stache. During the war he and many changed it, supposedly to give the gas mask a better seal. After ww1 it became more widespread but not as popular as other beard styles. In ww1 in the pre-revolution Russian Army the full beard was popular. He didn't get it from Hitler, maybe other way around. After all he was 17 when Russia left the war, don't think he served at the front. Hitler served the full 4 years and would have had it already around that time. Then again, Shtern likely wouldn't have known Hitler before 1933, and we don't know when he started to sport the Hitler stache.
