@Old Iron yeah, but only in you live in the middle ages or in the wild west, like it seems you think you do in the US. In Europe, and many other countries, we (regular citizens) do not need guns. We have national public security forces to protect us (police and military). They carry the guns for us, and are trained to give them a better use than us. Because of that, criminals have a hard time to get guns also, which means that our society is safer. That's backed by all sorts of crime and gun assaults statistics, where is proved that the US is one of the most violent countries in the planet. Ask yourself why. Fun fact: "Rojas Gun" in the mod is not a real WW2 weapon, it's named after Laz Rojas, creator of classic Wolfendoom mods from 90's. When recreating Wolf3D in Doom, Rojas used shotgun with increased firerate as replacement for the SMG - which is why "Rojas gun" is an auto-shotgun.

Looks more like an MG34, actually. Hard to tell with the pixels though, but a general pointer, the MG34 has a cylinder barrel shroud, while the MG42 has a square one. The square one is easier to replace the barrel for, which is needed with the MG42's high fire rate. I think it's an MG34 because of the 50 round ammo drum. I'm used to seeing the MG42 using an ammo belt with more bullets, because of it's fire rate.

Happy Demon I remember that in CoD Finest Hour there was an MG42 that you could carry and use in Stalingrad on the hill in Mission 2 and it had an ammo drum.

AFAIR: Wolfenstein 3d had 4 weapons: knife, pistol, machine gun, and a chaingun

spear of destiny mission packs 2 and 3 had different weapons which were all blue for some reason. chain gun is still chain gun but the pistol and submachine gun are different, idk what the pistol is but the SMG is the mp44 or stg44.

The Mac version had 2 extra weapons, the Rocket Launcher and Flamethrower, which brings it up to six, maybe Mr. Icarus was playing on the Mac version whenever he played Wolf 3D?

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a classic man. And Wolfenstein 2009 was just badass, I think it's actually my favorite of the series, it has some lovecraftian elements to it as well, if you haven't played it I'd totally recommend it.

Well, its laser rifle from 3/new vegas/4. Fallout 1/2/tactics' laser rifle resembled much more a sniper rifle than the boxy one from 3 and onwards.

Yep! The old fallout laser rifle is the wattz 2000, meanwhile the 3-and-onwards laser rifle was the AERn (with n being the number of the model). It would be awesome if they brought back the classic one as a separate weapon, like they did with the FO1/2/tactics' plasma rifle in new vegas (it was renamed to plasma caster though), plus it would be a good sniper compliment to energy weapons (instead of the mid-and-close range style of the current laser rifles).

When I first heard of this mod, I thought it was just a Brutal Doom reskin, but it's actually pretty fun and improves upon the original's annoyingly repetitive gameplay.

Even the little tweaks like the clinking of shell casings, destroyable furniture, persistent bulletholes, the simple mechanic of having to reload, and the BEEFY GUNSHOTS make the close-quarters shooting of 32-bit Nazis feel just authentic enough.

The good thing is, it's the entire Wolfenstein game. All 6 episodes. The bad thing is, it's harder than the original, just like Brutal Doom is harder than the original. Still probably didn't take much to redo Wolfenstein in this manner.

Could be nice if the doors open like the original game. Last time I tried that mod, map was nicely remake, but I just didn't like I could not beat the map at 100% ( just have that kind of habit to 100% clear every maps in Wolf' and Doom ( something I can't in some mods, like PB ), but well it's was a time ago perhaps we can now. ^^; Sometime I found some guns just over powerful too I mean at some point I could clear a map with almost just one bullet for everybody and then I'm like 'wtf I'm doing with all of that weapons?'. But bosses like the one at 4:00 argh!
