Being German, I can tell you the difference between here and the US is quite striking. Unlike in the US, you'd never have someone approach you for a ride like the guy at the gas station. It feels safer and more orderly here, but maybe a little less fun too. Germans love their rules, which is why tuning is fairly limited. We have a technical inspection association called TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) that thoroughly checks every detail on vehicles. Additionally, strict regulations exist, including noise restrictions (dB levels are listed in vehicle registrations) and specific requirements for mirrors (minimum size), blinkers (distance between them), and license plate positioning (visible at all times, with an angle restriction of 30° to -15°). While I appreciate the safety Germany offers, all these rules and bureaucracy can sometimes feel tedious. It's actually really cool to see how different tuning could be here if we had the freedom you guys have in the US
