Like you when I first started playing these early Queen attacks absolutely destroyed me but it’s one of those things we must learn to overcome so I am actually grateful to my opponents who choose to play this way. Usually if the Queen is moved on the second or third move I know I am going to win the game.

First off: I love your videos, and have studied many of your videos about openings, as they are all amazing. Second: It would be really cool if you could do a video on kings gambit - drunken king/tumbleweed variation. I know it’s a joke opening, but it would be really funny to use against my friends.

I really like your content - it's clear and practical, emphasizing just what we need to know, all in a very straight-to-the-point way that I appreciate. I'll be honest, at first your channel name didn't grab me because it's quite dry and literal for a brand identity, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It's some of the most helpful instructional chess content on here.

4:40 Out of three possible moves to escape the check, Kxf7 is the worst move. Kf8 is the best and Ke7 the second best. This is according to Stockfish. Of course either way black loses (with perfect play) so it's also correct to say that all three moves are equal.

In the second opening after 3...Nd4, instead of 4.Nxd4, what about 4.c3? White forces the trade of the tempo-eating knight, gets to develop with a threat after ...Nxf3 5.Qxf3, then gets the big center with d4 after black defends.

@@TheRomanianWolf yeah no now that i think about it its probably not the best but its definitely not that bad because... 1. as the other person says, you dont win a piece, you only win a pawn cause you also take the knight on c2 and material is equal 2. you go knight to e3 which still defends g2 (and also nxc2+) and black cant do much now after those two you probably just castle also for whatever reason the engine says after knight to g4 its -3 but only because of d5 which seemingly blunders a pawn but i guess it dosent edit: just checked but d5 dosent blunder a pawn because of bxg4 which dosent actually trap the queen but apparently its still +6 for black

At 153 when the bishop moves back, if black keeps attacking forward it's a different scenario, you should cover this. The outcome is very different no?
@michaelkrailo5725
@michaelkrailo5725 Жыл бұрын
Yes, if the bishop attacks with Bb4+ then block with Nd2. Then after Bxd2+ you take back with Qxd2. From here, you just play chess. Not everyone will just jump into a trap, so you have to play chess 80% of the time. Castle queenside and develop your pieces as always. Good job noticing blacks more attacking moves.
