I remember falling in love with my first girlfriend, I remember learning how to drive. I remember my first kiss. I can't listen to this song with out tearing up. The lyrics of "standing on your momma's porch you told me that you would wait forever and when you held my hand" Take me back to my former girlfriend's mothers porch and I remember when she held my hand looked in my eyes and told me she loved me. Despite it was only a school band, we went heavy on this one and suddendly everyone turned crazy, because the song is such fire. We later got asked for autographs. It was ... we'd never heard of AIDS ... we weren't run nuts by computers. One had to answer their phone in order to find out who was calling. I caught gas for 26 cents for leaded premium the night before the Arab embargo struck.
