First heard this song in 1987... sitting on my motorcycle, on a hill over-looking an amazing beach in Thailand... I could not believe what I was hearing... THIS WAS MY SONG! Had a rock band in the late sixties... and a beautiful girlfriend to sing to... and yes those were the best days of MY life! ... I'm 71, still playing my guitar -and STILL rockin' to this song. Yea! I was only 13 in 1984 but this album was such a powerful influence on me and really defined the 80's for me back then --- full of memorable songs and timeless lyrics that spoke to the trials and tribulations of youth! I can remember blastin' this song at the local lake where me and buddies swam and camped out at. Carefree days full of FUN and enjoying great music, it seems like that's all we needed to be happy back then!

Dreams do come true I saw this concert many many years ago on video and I wanted to experience this song in a concert stadium and I did just that a couple days ago in Orlando. I was born in 1979 this song brings back some very vivid memories of my adolescent years. I have watched this concert numerous times and it is by far one of the most poignant concert videos I have ever seen. The editing has been able to capture the raw emotions of the audience which in turn brings the lyrics to life. Bryan Adams is certainly one of the greatest singers of our times and this song simply solidifies it.

It's November 4th, 2023 chilled out in the Philippines and this song still brings joy throughout my body. It was 29 years when I watched Bryan Adam's 3 hour long, energy filled concert at BC Place, Vancouver. Man did he have so. Much. Energy!

But the people that recorded it can play it over and over again. So they can feel the 'greatness' or the concert feeling over and over. Each person will do what makes them feel good the most so each person is different. Some will prefer phones, some won't.

I was born on 1990 although the modern music era began and i had some modern artist which i admire, i already love the 70's, 80's and 90's era i totally appreciate it, real music and raw talent back then.. Michael Jackson and Bryan Adams were ones of my favorite artist on those Era..wish i could turn back time..

I saw him Australia in Melbourne in a small 2000 seat theatre Just him & his voice on stage with a guitar .. A couple songs were supported with a piano player That's it An acoustic show A guitar & his voice He was Astonishing .... The besr concert i have ever seen

In the middle of the concert we've had a little break and it was dark. Out of the sudden Bryan played just behind us on an extra stage. Believe it or not - Bryan pulled people onto stage including myself - and we were dancing together with Bryan Adams! An everlasting memory - this certainly has been one of the best day of MY life ...

Sometimes I watch this video just to see the ecstatic joy on people faces while they watch this song being played live in front of them. It gives a feeling of instant happiness and you feel as if you are performing together with the band along with the feeling of togetherness because everyone feeling the same. Thats how music connects people. I love bryan adams and I have been to his shows and I truly feel what the crowd is feeling here..

I have never lived in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s but this music always takes me back in time to those periods and I see people I have never met, experience things I never experienced. Music of those times stand the test of time and live forever. This masterpiece of Bryan Adams will live for eternity. Greatest respect to the great Bryan Adams.

I recently saw both in concert. Bryan was fantastic, lived up to all my expectations. Bon Jovi did not. I love his music but his voice is shot and it was so disappointing. There’s no shame if can you longer sing like you used to but don’t make people spend $200 on a concert ticket to find that out.

Summer of 69, I was getting ready for 9th grade, was a great year. Scary with the war and all but still a great year!! I remember when the song came out in 84, it really took me back to being a kid again. It still does now as I approach 70.

I saw this live and it's so powerful I can't explain it. I met Bryan backstage running into him between sets and what a guy. He was a super guy who invited me to stay and enjoy. I had to go to my buddy who was drunk but we ended up at a after party. All I can say us Bryan Adam's is one of, if not the best live musician of all time. Signed former DJ

LOVE this song! It was my husband's favorite song, and he said it reminded him of us back in the early 70s summers. He is gone now and I cannot listen to this w/o crying, but it brings back happy memories. Thank you, Bryan Adams!
