Had a rock band in the late sixties... and a beautiful girlfriend to sing to... and yes those were the best days of MY life! ... I'm 71, still playing my guitar -and STILL rockin' to this song. Yea! I was only 13 in 1984 but this album was such a powerful influence on me and really defined the 80's for me back then --- full of memorable songs and timeless lyrics that spoke to the trials and tribulations of youth! I can remember blastin' this song at the local lake where me and buddies swam and camped out at. Carefree days full of FUN and enjoying great music, it seems like that's all we needed to be happy back then!

I was born in 1979 this song brings back some very vivid memories of my adolescent years. I have watched this concert numerous times and it is by far one of the most poignant concert videos I have ever seen. The editing has been able to capture the raw emotions of the audience which in turn brings the lyrics to life. Bryan Adams is certainly one of the greatest singers of our times and this song simply solidifies it.

What made this song so great is that 25.6M is viewed and can be related. We all have that "Summer of 69". Mine was the Summer of 94. "Those were the best days of my life".

Bryan's music is timeless! Too many celebrities and artists get the fame, make the wrong choices and set bad examples both professionally and on life's choices. This man is among the few that are a great example and is admirable.

I am a 4year army veteran sgt ford met the love of my life when I got out. 1977 was a great year for me. Lost her to cancer. She was a better soldier than me. Miss her so much.

I saw this live and it's so powerful I can't explain it. I met Bryan backstage running into him between sets and what a guy. He was a super guy who invited me to stay and enjoy. I had to go to my buddy who was drunk but we ended up at a after party. All I can say us Bryan Adam's is one of, if not the best live musician of all time. Signed former DJ

You say you were at this concert. Would you please tell me where it was. I love Bryan's music. It's great to know he is such a nice guy too. Lucky you! I am sure you will remember this for the rest of your life!

I love just seeing everybody faces of them enjoying it and embracing it rather than people being glued to their phones

LOVE this song! It was my husband's favorite song, and he said it reminded him of us back in the early 70s summers. He is gone now and I cannot listen to this w/o crying, but it brings back happy memories. Thank you, Bryan Adams!
