You do not scrape fish off the bone. You break the snoek piece an the bones will pop up and you pull it out easily as snoek has large bones.

We were there. The tables and chairs were so close together it was difficult to get to the table where you have to stand on a queue for snoek. Then the snoek was finished and you had to shuffle between tables empty handed to your seat. The seafood potjie did not smell very nice and tasted like boiled frozen seafood mix. The vegatables was also frozen mixed vegatables which was still hard. All this with sauce served on paper plates. I am a Capetonion and this was very disappointing. R300 per person not worth it. I will not even go again if they told me I can go for free.

I believe your day was in Parys. It is a great pity my experience and the food in HARTBEESPOORT De Vette Mossel was very disappointing and nothing like you guys had. The food looked nothing like what you were served.
