not really, i find something that work and i stick with it until i find something better that i try with a small amount of work, gage if it works well, and then migrate only if the pain of migration is offset by the value gain of the new system

I'm 2 months in and Ginkgo Writer has been nice for work - whenever I go down a rabbithole and need to do thing x, but x requires x1, x2, x3, and x1 requires y1, ... y10, the tool has been pretty good at capturing that level of nesting. Recently starting a new job has really made me stop putting off seeking help though, so I recently got my ADHD-C diagnosis (and got prescribed Concerta). As much as I do somewhat regret needlessly stressing over things during my undergrad that I could have alleviated by seeking treatment earlier, it is definitely better late than never. I see you've been busy with school and work as well, so I hope for the best in both of our ventures. Your videos have supercharged my Obsidian usage at work, and with more practice I'm sure Ginkgo will do the same. Looking forward to what you'll make for us next!

Just started watching this, but I love the way you talk at the beginning. I feel like if I showed this to anyone else they would say "what the fuck is he going on about" but I literally go round in circles saying the same basic things in different ways ALL THE TIME. It's not intentional but it ends up helping me say what I want to say, the different ways of saying something help narrow down my thoughts by cutting off potential mis-interpretations.

As a recommendation for hearing back text on your screen, this is the main use case for screen readers (assistive technology for blind folks). On Mac, they have a built in Accessibility setting called "VoiceOver" complete with a tutorial. On Windows, you'll need to download a third party reader, like NVDA (free) or JAWS (paid, popular). I use these as a sighted person, but need them to test web accessibility as a web dev.
