Usually I hit Mille lacs few times a year for walleye but this year was weird one with the warm weather so took awhile for people to drive out there. Figured I hit it last weekend for the season and ya it was worth it. Was nice to see the walleyes fired up and hungry! So many little walleyes cruising through, def a strong year class to come.

@@BryanProkuski I have an idea. I think your highlight videos do great, your commentary included. I like the way you timeline things. It is fun when there is an exciting moment in a video. I must recognize the appreciation I have for the underwater footage of a perch storm that you have shown in previous videos. I enjoyed the choices of music for the environment. Maybe you could start a second profile with long footage? Royalty-free audio is all over the place. I don't mean to impose a new inconvenience, but this is just how I feel you could expand. I've never watched any ice fishing videos before yours. I watch a lot of media and I am very picky. Please take my opinion in consideration, because I feel even if you stay as you are, you will be great

As a kid I grew up in minnesota.we had a shanty on mille lacs.it was placed in the mud flats area.it was such a thrill to watch your bobber go down through the hole and under the ice.it could be a walleye a perch or eel pout.plenty of them.lots of memories.when I describe ice fishing to people in Kentucky they look at me like I'm from outer space.maybe we were.......

My Dad called them eel pout , but we now call them Ling or Burbot , great eating fish . I don't call it fshing when a camera is used to find and catch fish , I call it "catching", not fishing . Back in the mid 70's I spent a summer with some friends that lived on an out of the way little farm house just about five miles north of Bimidji... About as close to wilderness as you can get... There's lots of small lakes and ponds and The land owners were extremely friendly..I never got turned away when I asked for permission to fish their property...I won't forget about that time I was there.... Sadly, I can't stand the cold winter up there...Too old and frail .... Beautiful country full of wildlife...💖💖🕊️
