Caught a nineteen inch northern on a panfish Tungsten the other day, with two pound line!! Just hooked em on top front lip, usually I’ll lose a jig to em

Yes the season ending is always sad for me too. Sucks here in MN we have to wait couple months to target some good fish again. Oh well. It was another fun one season for sure.

@@mikek2488 Nice! Burbs are a fun fighting fish and love the color of them. No vids this year on them as I dont know any spots where I live now. Back home in Bemidji where I lived most my life. I can get a good bite up there. They hit like crazy. Going hit the crappie hole this weekend. Maybe a catch and cook if I find them.

Where in Minnesota are you fishing? I would like to target bass and pike. I usually just find panfish.

I usually fish anywhere from Mille lacs area to the Twin cities lakes. Stay shallow and you will find bass and pike.

Hi, I would suggest you to move your bait real slow when you go pike fishing, specially in winter. Anyway, pike love slow moving baits.

Thanks Chris. Ya they close it early here in MN for the spawn. But May is a long wait to fish again lol. We can still target panfish and rough fish. But nothing better then game fish.

If I were you I would stop using the plastic line and go with the braided. Braided line is much harder to break.

I do use braid on my jiggin rod. Might switch to it on the deadstick rod.

Oh man: fishing with living. letting the pike swallow and best: without steel leader. I cannot say how much I dislike this way to handle a fish. Disrespectfull and dumb!
